On 08/18/2024, I took my pet for a post-operation check-up, as requested from the association's doctor I saw last. While waiting in line, we made conversation with others, but unfortunately, when it was time to enter, the clinic did not follow the order of the line. Those who arrived last were allowed in first, leaving us waiting outside in the heat for over an hour and a half. When we were finally admitted, we were met with extremely unprofessional behavior. Dr. Valderrama raised her voice, telling us we should have taken our pet to another facility. Her tone made my cat anxious, and when I tried to comfort him, she yelled at me not to touch him. My pet then retreated into his bag, clearly stressed. I've brought my pet to this clinic since he was born, and this is the first time I've experienced such poor treatment from any doctor here. As a Miami Beach resident, I have every right to bring my pet to this facility, and I was previously very fond of this clinic as weell. However, this experience with Dr. Valderrama was highly disappointing. I also witnessed her being rude to another client, calling their pet "fat" and telling them not to return, despite the owner also being a resident. I hope not to encounter this doctor again at this facility in the future.
