Dr. Barbara Tomaras is an amazing doctor! Even though the reason for my visit was not very pleasant, she did a great job at comforting not just my ferret but also me as a pet owner who was losing her pet. She is very knowledgeable and explained the procedure step-by-step and most importantly, she made sure my ferret did not suffer. Highly recommend her for small animal services!

There is no better veterinarian for rabbits in southern Florida than Dr. Barbara Tomaras. She has cared for dozens of our rescued rabbits (Houserabbit Adoption, Rescue, and Education, Inc.) with expertise, compassion, and skill. She always keeps up on the latest in exotic veterinary medicine, attending conferences to learn everything possible. I wish we could clone her, because once people find out about her, it will be harder to get an appointment! She is fantastic, amazing, wonderful, and there are not enough positive adjectives in the dictionary to describe her and her practice. Best exotics veterinarian in southern Florida, bar none.

Took my little Quaker parrot, Cooper, to this clinic for his first check up and I was absolutely pleased with the service we received. I was taken back into an exam room with minimal wait time. Both the doctor and the technician we saw were knowledgeable and so kind and patient with both my little bird with a big attitude and with me as new bird owner with many questions. They were so gentle with my little bird and made sure he didnt have any fear during his visit. I never felt rushed even though the office was busy. All of my calls have been returned immediately and I was called with all lab results promptly. Prices for all services were fair and reasonable, I was pleasantly surprised. We have found Cooper's veterinary clinic for life. Thank you Exoticare!

Dr. Tomaras has been my vet for at least 5 years. I was in full-scale panic mode when I lost my previous vet of 9 years. I am so extremely thankful that I did!!! He couldn't "understand why people would want pigs for pets," and his treatment of Hamlette demonstrated it. As it turns out, he trained Dr. T - too bad some of her tender love & caring didn't rub off on him. Dr. T has been there EVERYtime I have needed her 24/7. My Hamster has been the love of my life for 9 years. At 62, and an animal lover, I have met quite a few vets. I would never consider using anyone other than her. Hammie, who has the memory of an elephant, is not at all apprehensive when Dr. T gets to my house, even though she knows what is going to happen. There is no better vet - and Danilo, her tech assistant has her compassion and skill as well. Does not get any better than Exoticare!!!

very friendly staff i had called to ask a question about a possible surgery for my mice but i got a longgg list of things i could do before surgery. saved myself some money and definitely upped my mouse enclosure.
