I went to find a little baby. I was saddened by the animals there. There were workers tending to the animals. Please donate toys , blankets, food and other pet supplies. I adopted Lola. I love her so much. Thank you for her. She has a happy little life spoiled with treats and lots of love.

i tried to drop off a poor little puppy i found in the street and the workers turned me away because i didn’t have an appointment? since when do you need an appointment to drop off a dog? and the next one available wasnt for 6 days? and then they refused to give me the owners number when we found out she was chipped so how am i possibly supposed to contact the owner to let them know i found their dog? this guy was so rude and not helpful AT ALL. i thought the point of a shelter was to drop off poor dogs that need help and a safe place the hold them while looking for the owner but they didn’t care at all about the animal. WORST SHELTER EVER.

My dogs got out twice in 1 week and were brought here. Everyone we interacted with was so nice and friendly, and our babies were very well taken care of!

The staff is great, doing a tough job in difficult circumstances. I'm happy to take even one homeless pet off their hands!

We found a box of five very young puppies in a ditch and tried to take them here right away. We were told (over the phone— they wouldn’t even see us in person) that it wasn’t their jurisdiction, that we needed an appointment, and that they were full anyway so we’d need to take them to the county shelter (which is not open until Tuesday because of the Christmas holiday). Basically every excuse to not help us. We were just trying to do the right thing and they acted like it wasn’t their problem. Ended up going to the east side shelter. They provided far better customer service and took the puppies right away. So basically east side rules, west side drools.

People were rude is was crammed and all they had cat wise was high maintenance or had behavioral problems that I can’t take on right now, a couple were good tho, worst experience the only reason this place gets more than 1 star is bc of the 3 ppl who were kind, patient and understanding with me and my wants in a cat (I had 4 before now 5) I should have put this off and went during kitty making season bc a cat is not worth me losing my temper with people as I am hot headed. Their communication isn’t great with most volunteers/workers. They are pushy and 1 woman talks up a storm and gives info even if your already know how to care for cats. I will NEVER return plus the ground outside is ripped up, it’s a hazard! No need to be rude, inconsiderate, have messy area for work AND be petty to people looking to adopt, the cat I did adopt isn’t getting along with my cats but I refuse to take him back, I have better luck finding more than 3 nice people on the street then I did at this place. I feel the to really express my appreciation for those three ppl but my over all frustration with that place
