I have never ever had a better experience with a veterinary clinic! Not only have we adopted from Animal Humane before and it was wonderful, the way they take care of you with their clinic just makes them even more amazing. They took such good care of my little baby, I wouldn’t trust anyone else with him!

I adopted my cattle dog mix, Cassie, 10 years ago come December. She was so anxious in the shelter environment and was passed up by everyone walking through. I will always remember her as the puppy, nose pressed to the corner, shaking like a leaf. She’s a senior pup now and still thriving! Just wanted to share a story with the organization that what they’re doing changes lives for years and a lifetime. She is now the begrudging, yet loving older sister to three other pups, all rescues themselves

Immediately, I was greeted with a warm "hello, how may we help you today?" I mentioned that I was looking for a new best friend and just like that the staff helped in every way possible. It was a very clean, welcoming facility. I was impressed with how professional and caring everyone was to all of the animals as well as to me. I was certainly nervous, and they assured me that this will be an exciting experience. Within a few hours, my new bestie (Shadow) and I were out the door to explore new adventures together! The staff also gave me a folder filled with additional resources like classes and contacts related to veterinary care and wellness. Now, 5 days in with my new pooch (Shadow), I know in my heart we are a perfect match. My only hope is that Shadow feels the same! The main facility where animas are kept for adoption is the nicest shelter I’ve ever seen. It’s clean & they keep the animals in nice rooms. They exercise & play with the animals on their open campus areas. They make sure the animals are good for adoption physically & mentally. They have a Food bank for people needing help in buying food for their pets. I adore the Thrift shop. Everyone is so helpful & friendly & they love when you bring your pet in. They always supply plenty of treats to the pets!! They have such a wide variety of things for sale, it’s like being in a department store. It’s always so clean & everything is sorted in nice displays. It isn’t like a thrift store at all! It doesn’t look or smell like your typical thrift shop!! You automatically save 8% at the Thrift shop because there is no sales tax & you can find really great bargains. But the main thing is that you’re helping out homeless animals & helping those that can’t afford their animals anymore to be able to keep them in their family. It’s a win/ win situation.

I tried going through them for help because I was financially struggling. I emailed them, gave them information on what was going on and they said I was able to take my animals so they could help. I get to the location and they denied helping me out. I was very heartbroken at the time but from my information they can do that. So if you truly need help they won't help you. They will lie to your face and make up excuse and when you show them that they said I can get help from them they burst out with the truth. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate.
