BEST VETERINARY CARE | HIGHLY RECOMMEND I took my cat after hearing amazing reviews from others and personal referrals from friends - all were legit. The staff and veterinarians are pet-focused with a huge understanding for us owners. Everyone goes above and beyond to ensure your pet is comfortable and well-taken to while here, including pet and owner. I was well-informed during each part of my cat’s physical exam and validated for every concern I shared. I have never felt so heard, nor my cat so loved and care for during a vet visit. Thank you to all who provide this exceptional care to our beloved animals and owners at Blue Springs Animal Hospital & Pet Resort. You all are purr-ific!!

Dr. Groh and his team are kind, compassionate, and gifted diagnosticians. My dog had a terrible infection in her foot that was not healing, despite treatment and multiple visits elsewhere. Dr. Groh and the staff at Blue Springs squeezed us in and treated us like family. He immediately identified the problem (problems, really) and prescribed the right meds for her condition. He even discovered the cause of the infection: a baby copperhead bite, hidden, beneath incredible swelling and mess. She started getting better within a couple of days of proper treatment, and we are just so grateful. Bottom line: Dr. Groh, the vet techs, and the scheduling staff all care, they are excellent at their jobs, and we have a new home for allergy and infection issues. Highly, highly recommend.

I was suggested this veterinary office when my cats labs came back positive for feline leukemia. It was very difficult for us to hear that she had cancer. Dr. Cook was very informative about the medication she would be put on. We worried about side effects and were put at ease. Our cat is now in remission! (A little over a year from her first diagnosis). All the staff here are very nice and this location is very flexible with appointments. Also the price is very fair I feel. For all the testing we've had for our cat, we've never felt like we're breaking the bank. I would recommend this veterinary office to anyone seeking oncology care for their pet.

They have Always been pleasant and so easy to work with when it came to my furry babies. Our Harley was really sick, almost didn’t make it. The vet, and his staff were nothing but the kindness. I felt their compassion throughout Harleys difficult time. 💕She doing Great, we are nothing but grateful!

June/2024: Dr Dear is still the best vet in Kansas City, if you don't believe me, ask Battle Cat, Josie Beans and Constanze Custard. June/2023: Katie Dear is a phenomenal veterinarian and an *actual* good person. She has personally sat in there with my husband in our sadness after putting our pets to sleep and shared how special she thought our pet was. I have never felt so seen or witnessed by a vet and that's why I will continue to bring my animals to her. Under her care and guidance I know my animals are getting THE BEST care that the Kansas City area has to offer. UPDATE 10/22: Dr Dear is still our top-notch favorite veterinarian, she was super great with our new kittens, Josephine and Costanza. UPDATE 07/21: My babies are patients of Dr Dear and she's probably the best vet I've ever encountered. I gladly drive my babies from Liberty to Blue Springs just for Dr Dear. I have never met a vet like her, and will never take my pets anywhere else if I can help it. The physicians and staff at Blue Springs are some of the most genuine, caring, and pleasant professionals I've ever met in the veterinary medicine industry. They took excellent care of my kittens and sent me updates throughout their surgery (everyone lost their reproductive rights) and made me feel very at ease knowing they were in compassionate, caring, capable hands. I chose this practice because of recommendations, but I will be returning because Sheila, Dr Bradley and Dr DiGasbarro are some of the best people I've met here in Missouri and I am completely impressed with their clinic model -- they even sent Scout and Battle Cat a get well card.
