So, we unfortunately, had to make a trip to Urgent care in Portland last night with one of my dogs. No one wants to have to make a trip like this, but it is so nice to have the option and not necessarily go to an emergency room if it can be avoided. From start to finish, it was a wonderful experience. I made the phone call, and I could immediately tell that the woman on the phone was kind and sympathetic to what was happening, and she got my dog, Bella, and I an appointment right away. When we showed up, we called and they had us come in, early even and brought us right to our own room. My dog is super sweet, but timid around new places and new people. She immediately warmed up to the vet tech that came in (though she did bark at something through the door that gave the tech a little burst of adrenaline!). The doctor came in shortly later. Everyone explained everything really well and they took care of her right there and then. They explained the fee breakdown very clearly before proceeding with treatment also. I can't imagine what a tough job it is to work at PetMedic and what the doctors and their assistants see everyday: They see people and animals at their worst, but they had smiles on their faces. They were empathetic, and understood, each case was different. I hope to never need them again, but it is comforting to know they are there and if needed, I wouldn't hesitate to go again.

My young golden retriever had a wet area under his ear for over a day and I was concerned he had an infection. The vet and vet technician at PetMedic were able to identify his problem and treat it right away. I am grateful for their day-of care and transparency about cost and service through the consultation and treatment. I felt we were in great hands and will return next time we need urgent care for our dog.

Absolutely cannot say enough good things about this clinic. The wellbeing of your pet is their top priority from the minute you enter the space. Staff is communicative, kind, and upfront about pricing before performing services. While all veterinary care is expensive, I’ve never once felt like their pricing was unreasonable nor have I ever felt pressured into unnecessary treatment plans. I have only ever received top notch care and will continue taking my animals there as needed, even if they are located an hour away from my home. It’s that worth it. Thank you all!

The staff at PetMedic was so incredibly kind and thoughtful! I called unsure if my pet needed to come in and they gave me excellent guidance. I got an appointment quickly and the front desk staff were so lovely! The vets and techs were so knowledgeable and explained everything to me clearly and fully. They reassured me that they would take good care of my cat and I can tell they did! Now only a few hours after my initial call I’m back home with my baby and he’s feeling so much better already. I have a full understanding of his diagnosis and feel confident in our treatment plan. From the moment I called, until the moment I left this was an incredible experience! So thankful to all the staff at PetMedic, they are truly hero’s 💕

Highly recommend the team at this clinic! They were super friendly, thorough in their diagnosis and care and very supportive during our decision-making about costs when we needed urgent care for our dog’s swollen ear. It was easy to book a same day appointment on a Friday night which was a relief because our dog was really uncomfortable and it couldn’t wait for the vet to open on Monday. We would definitely return!

I was honestly worried it was going to be an expensive visit but we loved our experience. Not only was it not expensive but we were in and out within 45 minutes and our boy is feeling much better today. I can’t thank you all enough!
