The team at The Mainely Dog are fantastic! Kayla, the owner, has a wonderful team that takes exceptional care of our 2.5 year old rescue, Camden. We were hesitant about bringing a rescue into daycare but The Mainely Dog team set him up for success and he’s so excited when we pull into the parking lot.

I love the Mainely dog! They are so professional and clearly love every dog that comes into their facility. My chocolate lab has the best time with his mainely dog friends and we have never had any issues. It’s always clean and the staff are extra friendly. Bonus points for all the photos and content we get during the day from their team. So glad we found this place.

The Mainely Dog is the best doggy daycare in town! I trust them completely with my dog Francine (and she can be a handful). When we get close on our drive in the morning she recognizes where we are going and immediately gets excited. She comes home at the end of the day exhausted and happy from a day of play & enrichment. I love how often they post pictures and videos on social media so I can see what the dogs are up to throughout the day. You can tell the staff love the dogs and that they take great care of them. Not to mention they give back to the community with dog food & toy drives. As long as I live in/around Portland I’ll be using them for daycare & boarding!

I cannot say enough good things about this place! We’re one of those crazy dog people that takes better care of their dogs than themselves and so picking a day care for my extremely anxious 1yr old rescue was important to me. Kayla’s daycare couldn’t have been more perfect! She’s extremely professional, considerate, has an awesome system focused on the pups and working constantly right along side her handlers. My anxious pup crazy barking at things like that tree that is surely going to attack us didn’t bother them one bit. Kayla was loved by all the dogs great and small, and to me, dogs loving you is the most honest and highest compliment (honestly all the handlers were!)! They gave him the cuddles he wanted throughout the day and never made me feel bad that my Gimli pooped…every…single…drop off, right at our feet. Her staff knew me and Gimli within the first couple days and wouldn’t even need to ask who I was for when I would show up to pick him up. It was magical in my mind. I still don’t know how they did it. The one guy handler had the pleasure of receiving Gimli on a morning that he was barking like crazy panicking (I couldn’t get him to stop) and the handler calmly and gently just kept saying Gimlis name getting closer and closer (not at all flustered my 80lb dog was trying to be “so scary”) until Gimli heard him and turned, Gimli started wiggling with happiness and took off with that gentleman. I couldn’t have been more relieved. So thank you Mainely Dog!! One day when I move back you’ll meet our whole pack!

The Mainely Dog is awesome. Kayla and the staff are fantastic with the dogs and their people. Our Bingo's favorite day of the week is the day she goes to The Mainely Dog. I cannot recommend this place enough. You and your dog will be soooo happy here! -Ben

My dog has a hard time socializing. So, it is hard to find a daycare that works for us. The Mainely Dog crew has exceeded our expectations and goes above and beyond to make sure Millie is comfortable and having fun. It is her favorite place to go! I highly recommend sending your pup here!!
