Staff were rude towards my spouse ☹️ especially Destiny. Also no one answered the phone three times after we arrived for the appointment. Sucks that this is the only affordable place in town. The service also took way longer than it should have.
Both of my girls got their vaccines. Both of my girls survived to tell the tale. The photos I got of the mean mugging and spastic breathing suggest they got out JUST in time. 😂 Wait until the younger one finds out she has to go back for a booster!
Exceptionally rude staff at the front desk/vet techs. When we actually spoke to the vet, she was very kind and informative. While I understand the benefits and efficiencies that come from not allowing people to come inside with their pets, their customer service flaws or just complete lack there of suggests they simply don’t care about your business. Scheduling is nearly impossible and they charge you for just requesting an appointment...yes that's correct, for requesting an appointment not for actually scheduling it. Definitely an establishment that doesn't care about you or your pet. The only reason this place is in business is because of the massive demand for veterinarian care in Anchorage. I feel sorry for the vets who work here because they sit behind the wall that is created by a terrible business structure and operation. Edit: I regret the comment about the rude staff as a whole because the woman we spoke with towards the later portion of figuring all of this out and getting our refund was actually very kind and apologetic. However, the majority of our experiences have been negative. In response to your comment about it being an emergency, we made it very clear in the paperwork and over the phone that our dog’s fatigue was mild and only a minor behavior change that we wanted to address (not even remotely an emergency). Your front desk scheduler was nearly impossible to communicate this with, completely exaggerated our words into “extreme fatigue and lethargy” and insisted to take him to an ER vet. Keep in mind this is after we waited five days for a call back o our appt. request (we ended up calling when we heard nothing). Not only this but she was actually very pushy towards us altogether seeing another vet unless we needed vaccinations. I’d also recommend not calling your customers “challenging” when your employees rude nature is only matched by their inability to listen or read paperwork. We understand the long lead time but whoever we initially spoke with was either extremely poorly trained or simply trying to get us to go somewhere else. Regardless, thank you for addressing it and I hope that other individuals have a better experience.
Had a wonderful vet visit with my pups! The vet tech was so friendly and helpful. Our vet (Dr. Closter) went over all my questions and concerns for my fur babies. I ordered some labs. Dr. Closter called me to report that all came back negative which was awesome! I was amazed how much my dogs loved the Dr. Closter and vet tech. Usually my boys bark and pitch a fit at the vet. This visit they wagged their tails and begged for attention. Best experience we have had at the vet!
Had a wonderful experience with my puppy. He was neutered on 4/13/24 and everything went well. We are 2 weeks out and he is doing great! The staff was wonderful and even though we didn’t meet the doctor, I’m sure he was wonderful too. Thank you!
Receptionist w glasses and dirty blonde was not helpful or could provide w any information towards my one question. Dr. Seemed unoccupied and did not engage to support staff w questions. I had a simply question and was disregarded and decided to leave due to the service provided or lack there of. Response: escaping into the clinic is false. They were contained in their basket. “Unsafe practice” is not what I asked for. Actually my question was never answered as state in my previous comment. But I’ll continue my response in email.
