I am from Georgia, and a family member reposted a post about Paris. Something in her eyes just melted my heart. I called to see if it was possible for me to adopt her, and they said yes. I drove up with my dogs to do a meet and greet. The staff was so kind and helpful. I was very impressed with the care the animals receive there. Needless to say Paris has been in Georgia over 2 weeks now. She seems to be fitting in very well. She still gets anxious, but we are going to start acupuncture to see if it helps. We are going to let Peachy Paris take her time learning that this is her forever home.
They truly care for the animals they have there and do the best they can for them all. They were very up front about whether an animal would be a good fit for your household and what to watch out for with each one. They were over the moon when we adopted two of the puppies they were caring for.
So many adorable kitties and cats up for adoption! We picked up the beautiful Gorby today. The staff was so kind and helpful. Stop in and give one of these beautiful cats a new home!!!
We had a really nice experience here. This is the fourth animal I've adopted from them and I will continue to adopt from them. They extended their hours and dropped their prices so that they would get more people coming in because they are packed. It worked. There were several people there adopting and we adopted this sweet girl. Their staff seem really vested in getting these fur babies adopted. Great experience!
I called them to inform them of an injured goose outside of Michael’s & Esporta Fitness at the White Oaks Mall in Springfield. I and two other people with me had noticed that it was just sticking around in the same spot, and when we got closer we realized that their right foot was discolored and they were limping on it and not wanting to apply pressure to it. There was another goose with it, seemingly fine, but very protective over the injured one and wouldn’t leave its side. A worker arrived around 20 minutes later (which is reasonable as it’s about a 16 minute drive according to google maps). The woman that arrived stepped out of the business car, walked around, to analyze them i guess. she spent a few minutes doing so, then got back in her car for a bit, moved it forward since the geese had advanced and she remained in the car until she would then get back out of the car only to clap her hands to scare them off into the grass out of the parking lot, and then left. about an hour later, they were still in the same spot in the grass that they were scared off to. I know it was about an hour because i was waiting on people inside the mall, and was taking an important phone call at the time too. I really wish i could’ve done more to help the poor goose, but i did what i could. all i know is that if i were an animal control officer/worker, i’d care a lot more.
Highlyrecommendthey have so many dogs and cats the volunteers work with the animals I can tell by how a new girl shaka walks on a leash shakes sits and how well mannered she is she been there most of her life so what she knowsshe learned there
