Great service and care, and also great specialists to take care of your furry babies. Unfortunately, I have had to visit them a couple of times, but they did so great the I'm happy to know we have them for help our pets. Highly recommended. My dog was received both times just a few minutes after I arrived, the doctors explained everything very detailed and the rest of the team were always kind and treat Roger with love. He is now healthy and happy again.
I had an amazing experience with MVS, a year ago my dog had knee surgery with doctor Andrade, she was excellent, professional, it only took her a few min to come up with a diagnosis, she scheduled the surgery within a week after consultation, and I cannot describe how perfect the results were, even the day after the surgery my dog was in pretty good shape, (knee surgery and in general orthopedic surgeries are very traumatic, implants, swelling, bruising, etc). My dog's wound was super clean, small, and perfectly sutured. The total recovery time was 12 weeks, now it’s been 11 months and my dog has a really normal and happy life, he runs, jumps, and walks super good. Excellent results, excellent performance of TPLO technique. All the staff was friendly and kind, dr Andrade called me after surgery.. she’s awesome
I brought my little dog Lua who was trembling, weak and with 40 bpm heart rate to be evaluated. I was very distraught and worried. Dr. Carles Canyamas came out to speak with me and explain what procedures he was going to perform on her in order to stabilize her condition. He was professional, caring, thorough and kind at the same time. She had to spend the night at the emergency hospital to be closely monitored. The next morning Bruna, Dr. Canyamas assistant, called me and gave me the good news that my baby Lua was feeling much better. Dr Canyamas called me a while later and confirmed the news that Lua was coming home. I am extremely grateful to this great Doctor and to the entire team at the MVS clinic. It’s wonderful to know that you can go to an emergency clinic and be attended with great care and kindness. Thank you! We need more of you. Roseli Pestana
The medical care they provide for our very sick dog is exceptional and cutting-edge. Mind you, this cutting-edge service does not come cheap, but you get what you pay for. The veterinarians and vet techs are consistently qualified and compassionate. Another area of consistency you can count on is the devastatingly horrible group of women who work the front desk. They excel at developing new ways to make your experience a grinding agony. No matter what day of the week or time of day/night, they are apathetic to the point of overt passive-aggressive hostility. Each time you call, you can count on every one of them eventually deciding to answer the phone and cheerfully exclaim, "One moment please," and then you will sit on hold for a minimum of 10 minutes and frequently up to 20 if they have not forgotten you exist. Having sat in the waiting room many times, it is clear that they are more consumed with their personal conversations and nails than the clients sitting in front of them or on their phones. This unacceptable level of abuse by the women at the front desk is acknowledged by everyone up the management chain in the clinic, but both management and the doctors appear to lack the ability to take control and fix the situation despite the acknowledgment and repeated assurances they also desired a change. So, yes, your pet will receive the best care imaginable in back behind the swinging door, but you personally will have to survive and accept the abuse and uncaring apathy from the women at the front desk and that certainly makes it a little more difficult to survive and accept the hit to your wallet that you might normally ignore for the sake of your beloved pet, but are emotionally bitter and have PTSD as a result of dealing with that front desk. I'm still giving 5 stars, but warning you to take your medication before you go.
I took my cat on Sunday 4/14 as an emergency due to him being ran over. They immediately took him in and about 30 seconds later I was prompted by the front desk that I need to pay $900 without even knowing if my cat was going to make it or not (or knowing if any treatments were needed). About 2 minutes later the vet comes out and in front of the entire lobby which was filled with people told me, my cat was too far gone and needed to be put down. These people have no sympathy for loving pet owners. Devastating news like this should be told in a private room not in a lobby full of on-lookers. And when we were put in a room, we had some questions about potential life saving options which the staff had to go back and forth on as they had 0 clue, so after each question they would come back with an answer from the vet and each time kept pushing for our signature to put down my cat. After some back and forth looks like they were fed up with our questions so they finally brought the vet to our room (which was would've been smarter the first time around to save them from all the walking). Overall, yes I am upset and deeply saddened from the loss of my pet. But this negative review is due to the lack of sympathy and respect from the entire staff. They will just take your money and take advantage of your panic & love for your pet. I wish I had looked at the reviews beforehand.
MVS was amazing with my dog Hercules. They were very nice and knowledgeable about his issue when I took him in as an emergency. The wait was very long, but overall experience 10/10. Every time I called they responded to all my questions. The vets were super nice and understanding throughout the whole time he was hospitalized. They have visiting hours which allows you to see your pet. Amazing place! I would recommend them as a pet emergency center. Thank you to all the vets and staff members at MVS.
