I got a chocolate Labrador that they called Jada. We renamed her Luna. She is the best dog I have ever had. They may bark when you go down the hall looking at them but she never barked when I brought her home. Super sweet girl, great with kids and other dogs. Never needed to use a leash she always walked right next to me. She was 5 years old when I got her and if you give them a good life they can live long after their life expectancy ❤️😊 Please note the cost for a small dog of $300 and the cost of a large dog from $100-$200 is still far less than the cost of buying a dog from a breeder. Not only are you helping a dog by adopting but the cost includes all of their shots, an implant tracker, and spaying or neutering. If you are looking for a low cost clinic nearby for follow up vet visits and shots for future years check out paws in action.

This place is a death sentence. They adopt out dogs without disclosing the dogs history, leading to dangerous and unnecessary safety issues…but don’t worry! If you ever find yourself in this situation and you’re forced to bring back a dog that you were allowed to adopt under false pretenses, they will make sure to call you and tell you that they killed that dog. They want to make sure that you know that the dog that they lied to you about, the dog that they gave no chance, the dog that you wanted to rescue (but never knew needed more help than you were able to provide) is now dead. They act like they care but at the end of the day, their actions make it very clear that they do not. Do you know what’s more dangerous than a violent dog? Having to find out that the dog is violent all on your own. Do you know what’s more dangerous than that? The irresponsible and corrupt people who knowingly withhold vital information for no reason other than the profit of business. These people should be ashamed of themselves…at the very least, held accountable.

Visited adoption center to donate sheets, towels and blankets. Took the tour and is a great place for animals to wait for their forever homes. Friendly personnel and very clean and all animals were clean and anxious to greet us!

The staff were wonderful and kind, then I met the manager. She told me the dog I adopted had heartworm and had me poison a puppy for 3 weeks only to find out she did not have heartworm. I don't know what her problem is but she was aweful. i was told the dog was fixed and she went into heat 2 weeks later and I had to have her fixed. I could have bought a pure bred for what I spent on vet bills.
