To be honest, the staff is quite nice, warm, and welcoming. But when comparing equivalent services to other veterinarians in the area, the prices charged here can be amazingly higher without a logical explanation for such a large price difference. They quoted me $721 for a spay on an under 3 year old dog, while another local veterinarian that's been in business for much longer did it for $360 with everything included. Definitely call around to other veterinarians in the local area and compare the quotes/services rendered before you unnecessarily overpay for services at this facility.

Absolute best vet clinic we have ever visited. Dr. Faris is the most amazing vet. We have taken our cat to see him for approximately the past 13 years. We saw him at another clinic and followed him when he opened his own practice. He has saved our cat from near death on more than one occasion, including removing an abdominal mass that turned out to be benign. We are so thankful for his kindness, willingness to educate families, and provide the best and most comfortable experience for pets at his office. We do not live in the area anymore, but continue to drive an hour and a half to see him. We are forever grateful for him and the level of care he provides.

I was highly impressed with this Vet as my 11-year-old cat was attacked by something. I called the two vets we have been to before and neither could see him, but Port Cities took him right away. The doctor communicated with me the entire day even a text at 11 o’clock at night which is amazing. He called me first thing in the morning to let me know how Leo was doing. I have never had that kind of service with a vet and I will be bringing all of my babies to the vet going forward.

The best vet I’ve ever been to! They were all friendly and helped make peanut comfortable. Very knowledgeable and I felt listened to! Definitely check this place out and thank you guys so much!

Took me a couple visits to realize this place only cares about your money. Last time I went it was for a simple eye infection/cold in my cat. I went there specifically for eye drops. The first and only thing they suggested was 100's of dollars worth of tests. I had to force them to just give me eye drops first and see how that went. Turns out that's all I needed.

Love Dr. Faris and Port City Animal Hospital staff. Even my "kids" are happy, (except one who is never happy at a vet and butt protective! LOL) Always receive great care and they are cautious of the wallet, too! Thank PCAH!
