We have our two cats going there since we moved to Florida (around 5 years ago) We go to their wellness appointments every year and they also both have had issues that they needed to be seen for. They always see us in the same day if we call with a concern and Dr. Howell always knows what is best for them, you can tell he has a lot of experience and he gets to know the pets and knows what is best for each of them. He tells you the exams and the procedures that actually need to be done in each case and doesn’t just want your money like other places. They do follow ups and your pet is seen again in the next days if needed. We feel very comfortable with Dr. Howell experience, expertise and honesty and with everyone else in the office. They ask questions and actually listen about what is going on and show real interest and they take what you have to say (about your pets behavior or anything) into account for decisions. They also answer your questions and take their time to talk to you about everything so you feel confident about the plan for your pet’s exams and treatments. We trust Midway hospital and feel confident that they will do what it is actually the best for each pet and each case (sadly it is not like that in other places). If you love your pets like one more member of the family like we do this place is the perfect fit!

Took my dog here for a second opinion after he wasn’t walking for months and another vet told me he was just old. Dr Barnes found an issue with his spine and gave him meds and he was better in days. I don’t even know what would have happened if I didn’t bring him here. I also love their “call when you arrive” so there isn’t a ton of people with dogs waiting. Dr Howell was also so nice, and He was honest about not needing another X-ray if things were fine so that saved me some $. Highly recommend

I have been going to this animal hospital for years. I've tried other places but I like how they really show they love animals. I had to put my elderly cat to sleep and they were extremely kind. I called and explained my cats symptoms and they had me in within 12 hrs. When they had to tell me he wouldn't make it they allowed me to take him home and let my family say goodbye. When I went back they allowed me to stay with him and comfort him while they administered the meds. After they sent me a sympathy card. Several months later I had to take my other car in for a checkup and they inquired about how we were all doing since Sonny passed. They really treat the whole family with kindness.

Fantastic experience with this office! Their prices are reasonable and the staff is excellent. My dog is generally pretty anxious, but he was calm and trusting of the staff here, which says a lot!
