Dr. Faber and the staff do a fantastic job caring for our two cats. She takes the time to explain various bloodwork results over email, and is very responsive to my questions. I'm so grateful that I can take Misty and Mavis here as I know they are in great hands.
This is going to be a very sad and unfortunate review. My pet was under the care of this veterinarian for a total of ten years. I believed she was providing my cat with the greatest care possible and that she genuinely cared about her. The last time I was there was in January 2024. My cat has numerous health issues from hyperthyroidism to gastritis. However, the behavior of the veterinarian and her team is the main issue here, not my cat's health. The vet’s stout front desk employee called me on April 16, 2024, to inform me that it was time for another quarterly blood test, please keep in mind this is an over $500.00 test, I explained to the clerk that I had a family emergency. You know that my family and I am going through a really trying moment, as my 13-year-old niece is battling leukemia. I told her that I will email the doctor about my cat's illness, but that it would have to wait. I emailed the veterinarian on May 1, 2024, outlining my family's circumstances and inquiring about certain symptoms my cat was experiencing in relation to everything. I'm asking the vet if her skin condition warrants a diet modification for her. Since I won't be able to bring my cat in anytime soon, I just wanted to send a brief note requesting to get in touch with me as soon as possible. On 05/03/2024 her med tech emailed me back, not knowing what my cat eats, saying stuff like maybe she has cancer etc. What? So, the vet could not email me back? This is not a CEO of a corporation; this is a vet that I been going to for years and spend over 10k to her. Really? I was so upset with the email I received from the technician, and she had no idea what food my cat was on. Simply glance at the computer! I responded with an email, stating that the message was intended for the veterinarian and not for you. She may at least reply to my email and see what food my cat is recommended in her file. I was furious. Not to mention cancer at a time when my niece is battling for survival. Well, the vet rudely answered me back stating she is too busy to answer my email…. What? And how are they supposed to know what my cat eats really? She writes a prescription every year because my cat is on prescribed food. She also said, “I don’t care how much you spend here; do you expect doctors to email you back” Well yes Dr Faber I do expect doctors to email me back when you been taking my money and taking care of my animal for years. She has before, throughout the years email me and answered all my questions on my animal. She proceeded to say “take your cat somewhere else” ok I will do that, also I have four of my friend’s family members that I sent them to you. They too are departing your establishment now that I have informed them of what you done. It’s clear to me now you never cared for my cat and only cared for the money. I went to you when you had a partner, I can see now why she left and did not want to continue to work with you. You ought to feel ashamed of yourself because your actions during this terrible period have harmed my family so much. You are a middle-aged "has been" or "never was" who is money-hungry, not a veterinarian. So, please, do not go near this veterinarian.
Dr Faber is one of the best vets in Pinellas county. Her compassion and professionalism is unmatched. She took care of my sweet girl as if she was her own. If it wasn't for her, her staff, and their communication, I could be in a totally different situation. If you are able to take your cat to this vet, please do.
All Cat Hospital saved my cat Sophie’s life and I will forever be grateful for them. Everyone I’ve spoken to at this clinic has been incredibly kind and they even went out of their way to check on sophie a couple days after her appointment to make sure the treatment plan was helping her <3. It’s a long drive. But the service is worth it. All of the doctors are professional and personal. They remember us when we come in and when we had to say goodbye to our little boy, they sent us a condolence card even though we had an outside service. Ted is amazing. He makes our cats feel like they are the most important cats in the world.
