Our wonderful little dog, Otis, suddenly became very sick one night, so we took him in to Papaya. Although the outcome for Otis was very sad news, the entire team at Papaya could not have been more wonderful. Dr Rogers was such a great vet, he is so kind and caring and explained everything really well and laid out our options is a very thoughtful way. We are so grateful to the Papaya team that helped us out in a very difficult time. We just got a new puppy and can't wait to bring him in to meet the Papaya team.

Today we had an emergency issue with our dog, he had gotten a fox tail in his ear. Our vet was only open until noon and short staffed so they suggested Papaya. It was a little hard to find at first but it is in the Von's plaza off Santa Fe. Walked in and from the first person we met, they were nothing but helpful and sorted out the issue quickly. While I was still shaking to see the bill this was also well within reason for services. Our pooch is now recovering and we didn't need to cancel Christmas to make it happen. Seriously, the staff was exceptional and so glad to know this option is now in the area if needed. Hopefully we do not need again but if we do, I will go without any hesitation...

We took our sweet 2.5 year old golden retriever in last weekend because we had a sneaking suspicion she had eaten something she shouldn’t have, and boy were we right! From the moment we got to Papaya we were greeted so sweetly by their front desk staff and we were promptly taken back where our pup got X-rays and an ultrasound that confirmed she had something in there that needed to come out. They were so honest and transparent about everything that needed to happen and I am so glad we went to see them. The staff is excellent and timely, the techs were so sweet to our Rosie girl who was not doing well at all, and the doc was so informative and never made us feel bad for asking a million questions! We will be taking Rosie there for all of her future possible needs!

Even at 10 pm, when our dog urgently needed care, this clinic was a true lifesaver. The staff sprang into action with a thorough examination, quickly diagnosing the problem and starting treatment right away. Their professionalism and swift response significantly eased our worries. The team—both the staff and doctors—was not only compassionate but also incredibly communicative, keeping us well-informed with regular updates and a clear health plan. They answered all our questions and infused us with hope during a stressful time. I recommend this clinic highly enough for their exceptional and caring service.

Had to bring my dobeman in on an emergency basis for a back injury and the team was prompt and extremely helpful. We were able to see Dr. Boisse and she took the time to review the x-rays with me and show me areas of her spine that are changing as my doberman is getting older. Although it did not look like the spine injury was bone or disk related I was relieved to rule out the worst case scenario. The techs that took my dogs x-rays were so gentle with her even though she is extremely anxious and gased everyone out. Grateful that I was presented with various treatment options and was able to ultimately utilize medications I already had at home from a prior injury. This ER definitely has that mom and pop charm when working with clients, highly recommend them in a pinch!

The facility is beautiful. The vet seemed very knowledgeable and the staff was super friendly. Would suggest this place for after hours or emergency pet needs.
