Dr. Vanderford was recommended to me by a friend, and I'm so glad that he was. Best vet experience I've had by far! He's extremely knowledgeable and honest. He discussed lots of possibilities that could be affecting my dog. Price was also a consideration of his. Everything was visible to me, and I felt comfortable knowing beforehand exactly what I would be paying for each item on the receipt. It's still pricey, but that's the cost of doing business, and I feel like my dog received great care here. Here's to hoping she feels better soon. Thank you for your help!

Shane and the staff did absolutely incredible when it came to taking care of our dog Brayla, who was poisoned by some ant killer. They all went above and beyond and we could not be more grateful. The world needs more people like Shane and the staff. Shane even picked up our dog from the overnight vet with Dr. Mosley and that was just icing on the cake. The amount of care and attention they gave our dog.... Words can really not describe. It's because of Shane and the staff, our dog is alive and recovering today. They may seem busy and overwhelmed, but they seriously give the best care for your animal, the most attention, and care. We hope Shane and the staff enjoyed breakfast my wife brought and Shane enjoyed the deep dish pizza. That's the very least we should be doing for everything they have done.

Highly recommend VCA westside! Bo always loves going and seeing the friendly staff. They consistently take such great care of him. So thankful for the puppy plan membership! Dr. Vanderford was so knowledgeable, helpful and informative. The exam was very thorough and it's evident that he truly cares about your fur baby. Miranda is always very helpful to ensure the best vet experience and the reason we travel from an hour away to come to this vca location. 5 star experience!

We been using VCA for the past 5 years. Even when we moved we continued to take our fur babies to the same vet. Today I had an infuriating and sickening experience when my husky was brought back to me with cuts on his face, and all the Tech Amber had to say was that he might be stressed because he wasn’t very cooperative. When I asked about the cuts on his face and she pretended to not know, then eventually admitted to having to use strength on him cause he was not cooperating. Yes they have mostly good reviews, but pay attention to the “few” bad ones, because having your dog brought back with cuts on his face shouldn’t be a possibility. To top it all off they gave no care at all and were just trying to dismiss us. I don’t know if they have new staff or vets but avoid this place.
