I adopted Monty (catfish when I adopted him) about 6 months ago for my little female so she wasn’t lonely, he was 10 pounds then he’s 15 now. I adore him , he is so smart and comical, He is sooo loved by me and my girl Ivy. Thank you guys so much.

We adopted our sweet baby Leela (formerly Murchik) from Everett Animal Shelter about a year and a half ago, and from the first day she came home, she's brought so much love and joy into our lives. She had to have her eye removed after she got to the shelter, but it's obvious from how affectionate and fearless she is that they took very good care of her while she was there. I donate to this shelter. They have been wonderful. Helped me with a stray that was hurt. I was able to adopt him after the surgery. We love him so ❤️ much.

Probably not for everyone. I would prefer an approach that doesn't require dog specific appointments, in advance. That said, if you're willing to do the process on their terms, there are great dogs available. I was able to get a great companion dog that meets my needs. I'm ultimately happy that I was able to adopt a dog.

I took my 9 year old dog there (surrendered) for adoption. A staff person had already stated on the phone that he would be placed with a foster family and be given the opportunity to socialize with other dogs to help improve his social skills. But when I called the Shelter a couple of weeks later, a staff member told me he had been euthanized after just 3 days there.The reason was he was too uncooperative and difficult to work with. I feel betrayed. I had understood this was a no kill Shelter.

We took our rescue here to get spayed, and they were kind through the whole process. The woman emailing me responded promptly to all inquiries and the staff that took her at drop off were very friendly and welcoming. The vet did a great job with her spay and she was back to her old self after a few days. Very small incision too. Thanks again!
