My kitty and I had the best experience with Petfolk Veterinary & Urgent Care in Wake Forest!!! The service was excellent. My kitty was handled with great care and I was treated with such respect. The location is great and facility appears really clean! The customer friendly service and cost of services provided far outweighed what I received earlier at a different business/Vet ER. Thank you Petfolk Wake Forest! ☺️

This was my first time visiting Petfolk as my pitbul was having an allergic reaction after chasing a deer into the wood behind my house. PetSmart where I usually bring my pet and where I have a pet insurance refused to attend to him because we did not have an appointment! An appointment for an emergency reaction?? The team at Petfolk attended to my pet immediately after we arrived, acknowledging the urgency, treated my pet with love and empathy and in 30 min, we were on our way home, relieved that it was not an allergic reaction from a snake bite!! And this, for a fraction of what I would have paid at PetSmart (where by the way, I will never bring my dog ever again!). Thank you Claire, for such a great work! I highly recommend this Petfolkl to all in Wake Forest and surroundings!

The vet “examined” my cat and said he was perfectly healthy even though he wasn’t eating or moving around well. She didn’t recommend any bloodwork and just gave him a nutrient shot and sent us home. Later on in the day, he was very still and could barely open his eyes. Clearly he isn’t healthy. We had to go to another urgent care the same day, who at least said his thyroid issues may also be leading to underlying kidney issues and gave him fluids to last another night. The other urgent care said when they give him fluid there’s supposed to be a bump and he’s supposed to slowly take in the fluids, but the fluid almost immediately went away so he was REALLY dehydrated. My mom went by herself because she was the only one available at the time and she speaks broken English. She did not feel welcomed at all by the vet and felt the vet was belittling her. My mom was told by the clinic that I would get an email of his visit summary but I never did. Guess they didn’t want to embarrass themselves with the lack of attention they gave my cat. Don’t go here unless you want a racist vet and pay more money to go to a different vet afterwards.

My dog hates doctor visits until today. We were welcomed to his new place where the veterinarians and staff are amazing. Soft spoken and warm , it made my dog calm along with the wonderful treats he got for being a good boy. The location is perfect with plenty of parking. Very calm atmosphere.

Very pleased with visit. Technician and vet had good demeanor and showed obvious care and interest in my pup. They took time with me and were happy to answer questions and give advice. They handled my pet nicely and with compassion

10/10 recommend Petfolk to care for your furry family member. When we first knew we wanted to adopt our puppy, we immediately thought about the cost associated with her care. Petfolk removed any barriers around thinking we couldn’t afford great pet care. The staff is super knowledgeable, loving & great with our Mini Poodle Penelope. She even gets super excited to see her friends at Petfolk.
