We also have an in-house diagnostic lab and a network of expert diagnostic offerings which we can recommend to you. We also offer emergency veterinary services during our regular business hours.

Our new kitten has always had a tough time breathing. We were told it was asthma or just a cold. She never got worse so we just believed it. Finally we had enough and trusted North Wake Hospital to figure it out. She ended up having a polyp! They removed it and she is so much better now! Everyone there was understanding with our situation. It's just my son and I and we didn't want anything to happen to her during the surgery. We are so grateful to have a safe place to take her when she needs help. Thank you North Wake Animal Hospital. Our 3 person family is safe and whole again.

Just wanted to take the time to send a huge thank you to all of the staff at North Wake Animal Hospital. Last week we experienced the loss of our dog Coraline and at the last minute North Wake Animal Hospital was there to help during our time of need. They made this hard transition very comfortable and offered exceptional service with the handling of our late dog. They sent us a sympathy card, and return her ashes within 1 week. I can't say enough about the genuine care and compassion we received from Dr. Taylor and staff at North Wake! Our sweet dog Little Jerry Seinfeld had a horrible experience with a bad treat, leading to horrible diarrhea for a few days, which ultimately led to dehydration. The super-kind staff at NW was SO patient with us and Little Jerry is back to his angelic self! I can't recommend them enough. THANK YOU to all at North Wake for setting the bar for kind, compassionate vet care for pets and their people!

Thankful for Dr. Wendelken and staff at NWAH! My 5 year old lab had been very sick and not responding to the treatment by our vet. We decided to get a second opinion and it proved to be the right choice. They saw him on short notice with no records in hand. Dr. Wendelken thoroughly explained options and cost based on the lab results. Not having an inconclusive diagnosis, he treated him with what he thought was best. Great first experience with this practice. We will be moving our dogs’ care to NWAH. The staff is so friendly and truly care for the pets and owners!

Our 8 yr old cat was treated recently and we had a good experience. The cat has a “spicy” personality and the staff knows the best way to treat her to get the best outcome. I can wholeheartedly recommend the practice.
