I was there 2 years. It's a good place for a man to go in order to re-establish himself with himself and the Lord. However, at 2 years, I had a slip up. I relapsed. Not for an extended time. But still, it happened. What was there response? A hand out(the door), and definitely not a hand up. I was due to receive the reward for completing a year-long course. They stripped me of that, then put me on the street. Bam. Just like that. No disciplinary problems from me the entire time. Worked hard. Did all I could for whoever needed me. It was all for nothing. I was back in the street, blowing thru what savings I did have just to survive. Point is....they don't care about you. Money is their idol. And the infestation of bed bugs is mind blowing. Pockets definitely getting padded with the Health Department

If you want detach from the world and family come here. They really don't care about you. It's a place ran on a infant shoe string budget. Food was ill prepared. It's organized chaos. They need a whole new staff. The church was not for me. I love Jesus. The way this place doing jesus is wrong. My God's son Jesus is about love never hate. Now the only thing God hates is sin

It's has saved my life. God is here. No matter what people say. Don't let the devil win. It's a great place to get back on your feet. Yes staff is hard on you but that's to weed out the people who are truly not ready to serve the Lord . This place is great and the people that run it are true Christians that love people because that's what the bible teaches .... Bear one another's burdens don't kick em while there down... A hand up not a hand out is their moto ... God is great let him be great in your lives... That's the ONLY way to get clean and live life like we are meant to..

We've known this family since 97. Their work for the LORD IS CONTINUOUS and we support them regularly out of obedience to God and love. You will never know financial freedom until you honor God's command to tithe and you cannot outgive Him.I pray people realize that and even before I was saved, I believed in being charitable. This a very heartfelt review from a daughter who had a Dad, abused drugs most of his life and surely through all of mine. BUT he spent time with taking me around Hillsborough, meeting and greeting cousins, aunts, my dear Grandma Dick...one my favorite people on the planet but sadly she unexpectedly passed a few years ago an our whole family still feels that loss, Dink was the rock of our family. Sorry i digress, well after gma Dink passed, Daddy I think had a tough time and what do addicts do, try to find a score or whatever their poison. But I worried, we didn't get to talk much or visit with each other but sensed he was in the den deep, I still cry whenever I mention this...I. thought the next thing I'd hear from my aunt Kay or Robin, thahe was found dead in a ditch somewhere. Until the MIRACLE, well in my, I'm sure daddy feels the same. Kay called me first thought "OMG Please let him ok, please let me ok!" She then proceeded to tell my Daddy went into a sober living at your wonderful, special wonderful mission! Your organizatuon help save my Daddy's he's same ole cut up, always asking I need, asks about his only grand daughter. I try to write hseim at least 3 Times a month, I send him his birthday plants, easy to care for and he says the are😁 Getting him in the kitchen was the best job for him, being in charge of the food he takes great pride in. And in visits, he's just as happy, off the drugs for YEARS now, going on 6 or 7 years and doesn't want to live Hillsboro and said he didn't have to leave and y'all won't require him. I think structure of religion and him feeling needed, makes him comforable. Less is a tad long lol, so thank from the bottom my❤ Not all angles wear wings!!
