My only concern is the 1-3 hour wait for the vet clinic. 🤦‍♀️ If you don't get there an hour earlier, and wait you could be sitting there most of the morning to afternoon. I wish I had gone through this service a long time ago, Yanceyville Shelter is a dump, compared to this place... Everything else is top-notch... The ladies at the front are super sweet. They're always nice to me, even when I call. The vet staff seem legit, they know what they're doing. I ain't got a complaint..

The lady who was at the desk when I came in was so nice and helpful (even though I had about 1000 questions to make sure the kitten was in good health) I was super worried about being able to find a cat that my current cat likes as he has shown to be picky about other animals, we found basil and he was very shy but had obviously been very well loved. They are best friends now!! Technically we are fostering right now as he has surgery on the 1st which then we will be able to make it offical!! So in love with this cuddle bug.

This is by far the best, cleanest animal shelter I’ve ever walked into. All of the staff were so helpful in helping me with my adoption. They all showed genuine excitement with me adopting a dog that had been at shelter a long time and that made me feel like they really care. Chris was great in discussing everything- good and bad-about the dog I was adopting. He made sure I knew everything to make my decision. If you’re reading this, please know, Porthos seems very content in his new home!

I haven't been to the Burlington Animal Shelter in years until just recently. They have an incredible new facility and friendly, helpful staff. This shelter is truly something for Burlington to be proud of! Staff member Chris was especially helpful--Thanks for introducing us to our new family member!

We love Burlington animal services! We adopted this sweet boy and he was the perfect fit. Chris helped us pick him out and took us out to play with him. Every time we go they are all so helpful. We have done a lot of fostering with them and have also utilized the mighty mouser program for community cats. Whatever our purpose at the shelter, they have been great to work with and super helpful and kind. We can’t thank them all enough!

Chris was incredibly helpful in picking out Xena (formerly Baby) for my cousin. She's a gorgeous Australian Shepherd mix and incredibly sweet. Chris really listened to the kind of dog which would suit our family and was honest about which ones would not be a great fit while also recommending those who would be. Xena and my Border Collie cannot be happier in their playtime. The facilities were clean, well-maintained, and efficient. Thanks again Chris!
