Adopted a cat with this shelter through Pet Smart on 04/21/2024. Turns out the cat was already sick when I took her home. I only had her for FOUR days and I had to take her to vet. Her spay site is infected with a huge abscess and now she may need surgery. I only had this cat for TWO weeks and she needs surgery!!! Wasted money and time. Obviously this shelter doesn’t check the health of their animals before giving them away.Absolutely ridiculous bd frustrating. Would NOT recommend!!

Paid $90 to adopt a kitten that they flat out lied about on the little adoption information sheet to make it sound as though he would be affectionate. 3 1/2 weeks of the kitten not letting anyone even appear to want to get near him, I called the office to see what the options were, and was told as long as I had all of the original paperwork, they’d waive the surrender fee. The first time I actually got to touch the cat to try to get him in the carrier, I was bitten and scratched to the point of drawing blood repeatedly in a matter of a few seconds. That’s not their fault, but they refused to give me any sort of credit for the adoption fee despite the fact that I pointed out the lie and my knawed up arm and hand. You’d think they’d want their animals to find happy homes.

staff was very rude, one in particular was very hostile towards us for coming to adopt our dog. he was there to get fixed & we still paid the adoption fee, even though he was already our dog (we didn’t mind paying the $150) our dog went in smelling fresh & clean, and came back absolutely filthy & disgusting. If they were treating people coming to give a dog a loving home & one less for them to have to take care of & worry about rehoming, i’d hate to think about how they treat their animals. this place is very unprofessional and unsanitary i DO NOT recommend doing any type of business with them.

The team of workers and volunteers at this facility are dedicated to the helping with the plight facing homeless pets. If you can volunteer a little of your time for this group of people and animals, you will leave with the feeling of accomplishment.. Please consider donating your time, talent or resources to this worthy community cause..I do!!

The employees are very friendly and there to help you with any questions about adopting an Dogs or cats and I recommend anyone to check them out if you thinking about adopting one and they doing a great job 👍💯

I have fostered puppies for, surrendered a stray to, and adopted from Hub City Humane Society. You will not find a place that cares more and desires to help as much as Hub City does. They did everything they could to assist while I went through the surrender process for the stray I found. They are so kind and truly desire to help those who are in need. Swing by and find your furever friend like I did :)
