We, Bu Mu and Me, all decided this is the best vet and staff ever. They calmed us all down and got us ready for our long voyage to another country and life. Fast, kind, knowledgeable, understanding and lovely humans. We would come back in a minute if they weren't so far away from our new home. Thank you to all the staff!

I’ve had nothing but great experiences with all the doctors and staff at Atlantic Vet, especially Dr. Munroe. She has been very helpful getting my cat on the correct diet that minimized her vomiting issues. My cat also had some dental issues and needed teeth extracted, and they performed the surgery successfully with no issues. The communication has been great - for the dental appointment, every step was communicated thoroughly, from the preparation to updates during the surgery to a very thorough explanation of what to expect for her recovery. It was very reassuring to know she was so expertly cared for. They even called the next day to check on how she was doing. I have been very pleased with the care my cat has received and would highly recommend Atlantic Veternary Hospital.

This Vet clinic has always gone the extra mile for my dogs, working closely with us to manage one pets epilepsy, and keep our old dogs comfortable and healthy. They are transparent about fees, and offer options for care if budget is an issue. Great people. Competent and caring.

The staff is awesome. By far the best vet clinic that I’ve ever been to. They were very knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly. I felt very comfortable asking questions and it honestly feels like a good safe space for my pets. I feel really good about my pets coming here

Very caring team of professionals from first hellos from front desk to the techs and aides and Dr. Cline. Had to find a new vet after Dr. Young retired from practice. So glad to find this wonderful group! Sad that no one has the sliding payment scale that Dr. Young had, but I am in a better position to afford my pet care than before.

Caution: Simparica Trio Experience Sharing my recent experience with Simparica Trio at this veterinary clinic. Despite previous vets suggesting my indoor dog didn't need heartworm/flea/tick prevention, this clinic strongly pushed for it. Sadly, after starting the medication, my 9 year old, 9-pound maltipoo suffered two hospital visits within two months due to severe neurological issues, including trembling, mobility loss (could not walk at all), and lethargy. I wasn't adequately warned about potential side effects and the whole experience was extremely traumatizing for my dog and the whole family. I understand it’s my decision to give my dog these medications but I was also not warned about these side effects/things to look out for so I can understand the risks from both sides to make an informed decision. If I had known about things to look out for, the ER visits would have been much more straightforward. The manufacturer posts the side effects online, and they are not all that uncommon (after speaking with my circle, I’ve heard of 3 other dogs having experienced the same issue with this medication). After discontinuing the medication, symptoms gradually subsided over two months. Owners should exercise caution with Simparica Trio and similar medications, especially for small dogs. In my case, the risk was definitely not worth it even though we were traveling to Texas for a period of time - my dog doesn’t like to go outside (I carry her on walks because she’s such an indoor dog).
