They got our boy in quickly and worked fast to find the cause of his health issues. So friendly, helpful, polite and non-judgmental. We'd definitely recommend them and Dr. Mary Hoff again. UPDATE: Our boy didn't make it but they were so kind and lovingly prepared him to come home. We're so grateful to know he didn't die alone and had friendly hands to sooth him and show him love in his final moments. Thank you for all you did for Loki ❤️

We were referred to them by our regular vet and they did a great job. The office staff was efficient and caring. The doctor took time to explain everything they were going to do and what might possibly happen, along with a monetary estimate range so that we wouldn't be unprepared. They all kept us posted on his condition both during and after his procedure.

Receptionist was compassionate and efficient when I called on a Sunday in a panic. She was calm and clear. I arrived, was seen very quickly. Vet was kind, thorough, and engaged. Hopefully I won’t need their services again any time soon, but will absolutely return in the event of another vet emergency.

My dog, Buddy, had a life threatening rattlesnake bite on the side of his mouth! We took him to Veterinary Specialists of Birmingham Pet Emergency. Dr. Hoff and Dr. Thomas used lots of antivenin and constant monitoring to make medical treatment decisions to save Buddy’s life! The Techs worked with him day and night and let me call any time to check on him.
