We went to Pet Paradise for the first time for a grooming! Not only did he look and smell great, he was so happy! All of the staff so kind! If you’re looking for a groomer, we love Mary! We would recommend to her to anyone and everyone! Thank you Mary for always doing an amazing job with our boy!

The most wonderful place and people to care for your pets. I was so worried about having to board our very sweet and loving but very skittish and shy adult cat for an entire week. We researched places for weeks and finally decided on Pet Paradise and are so happy we did. Everyone there treated our Chip like their own, made sure he felt safe and loved on, and were even sad to see him leave when we picked him up! Our experience with Pet Paradise was wonderful and we will definitely use them next time we go out of town.

Meghan the trainer is exceptional, professional, knowledgeable and caring. We had our dog Riley set up for the 4 week train and board. Meghan did a great job training our dog to be a more well behaved dog they listens to commands. The grooming and veterinary care wellness check was top notch! The Birmingham Tattersall location staff consisting of Meghan, Molly, Landon, & Josie are my faves!! The constant love and affection they show to my Riley is highly valued and appreciated!! I trust them Wholeheartedly with a very important member of my family!!

This place is so incredibly warm and friendly. On my very first visit I felt like I was interacting with a bunch of my friends and my pup took immediate liking to everyone which can be hard for her. I enjoyed every single aspect of my experience. For reference, I had and will continue to book an ultimate bath experience for my 2-year-old 35lb short-haired rescue. The online booking process was rough and we hit some bumps so I do not recommend going through that at least for your first time there.

Friendly, accommodating, active, and your staff updated me with how my dog behaved. The facility is nice, clean, roomy, and smells very good! It’s nice not to smell cows until chemicals or pee.

Pet Paradise Birmingham is a beautiful location with state of the art play and boarding areas. I recently went over seas and had my two dogs boarded. Their online cameras are a great way to check in on your pets and see how they are socializing and enjoying their time. My issue comes with an incident that occurred while my dogs were boarded. I received a text one morning that a hot spot had come up on one of my dogs backs at the base of his neck. The veterinary team claimed that this hot spot occurred because of an allergy to chicken, interesting as my dog has eaten the same food his entire adult life and never had a flair up before. They prescribed an ointment and advised it would clear up within 10 days. Now that the spot has cleared up there is a visible bite mark on his skin. I do not care so much that he got bit as dogs play with their mouths and accidents happen but to chalk it up to a false allergy to food is just plain wrong. I threw out his food and got a special sensitive skin diet to replace it with which was obviously unnecessary and an additional expense that didn’t need to happen. I understand this is a new business in Birmingham and miscommunication can happen but it’s better to tell the truth up front to a paying customer than to come up with a lie.
