We are displaced due to Hurricane Laura, had to evacuate our home not livable. We have a pit/Rottweiler mix, our Vet in Sulphur La must’ve got hit to. No way to reach them. Our dog needed his monthly heart worm medicine and Hammond Animal Hospital helped us out tremendously,they were so kind and accommodating. I don’t know how long we will be here. Would like to express our heartfelt thankfulness for this Vet and all the business people we’ve met in Hammond. So kind friendly and helpful to us. God blessed us with this wonderful friend to take us in his home. The staff here are amazing and incredibly kind, from the sweet people at the front desk, vet techs, all the way to the veterinarians. They have saved my lab's life twice, once performing an intestinal obstruction surgery and once when she caught a virus and got severely dehydrated. They are the only place I feel comfortable boarding her overnight anywhere, such as when we're going on vacation or visiting family out of town. And she is a large dog over 50 pounds and highly energetic. Their prices are also the best I have found in this area and I would recommend them highly to anyone who loves their pet.
