absolutely incredible volunteers. They were so very helpful and helped us make the perfect choice. Our little guy Has adjusted very quickly and has been running around like crazy
A friend of ours offered us a kitty but I was a little skeptical. I told my wife to take this kids and go adopt a kitty. The went to this location and found our calico Beauty. This place was nice and helpful. She was the only girl in a family of boys. I wish we had taken one of her brothers with us but she’s the most precious, well trained, well behaved girl. She’s been renamed “Noor” (light). Everyone loves her! If any of her siblings are returned pls contact us!!
Happy Kittehs, be they young or old! My 1st NBCR was Tsuki (aka “Spooky”) in 2009, then Spencer (2012), and Tarrant and Ripley (2012). They’re the absolute best cat rescue group I could recommend & highly recommend them for anyone looking to adopt. Spencer (RIP 2013) & Tarrant (October 2021-still miss my “T” so much) are still here in spirit. Grateful for Tsuki (will be 13 in July) & Ripley (Tarrant’s brother) will be 10 soon. Thank you NBCR for all the great work you do. <3
Absolutely wonderful rescue group! They took a lot of time making sure my boyfriend was the right fit for the kitty he was interested in. Everybody was super professional and very helpful. The Foster parents are amazing, and the cats are all loved. If you are interested in bringing home a new family member, New Beginnings is the best of the bunch!!!
Good people but badly organized. I emailed to setup an appointment for a kitten adoption. One day before the appointment, they reached back to let me know that foster strongly insist that we adopt two kittens. We asked them to at least see the kittens first before we adopt two. We travelled over 30 minutes to the adoption center only to find out that we were not even on the list for the appointment they confirmed with us. We waited for over half hour but no one was even able to reach the fosters for the kitten we wanted to see. We had high hopes to bring the kitten with us but due to their badly organized appointments, we had to go back home without a kitten. This is just bad.
I got my kitten from this organization about a month ago. I’m absolutely in love with her but I’m extremely disappointed in the conditions she was kept in while under the care of New Beginnings. After she was I adopted, I discovered she had fleas, an upper respiratory infection and RINGWORM. As a result my other cat got ringworm as well and I’m now treating them both. The cost of treating her and now my other cat has now surpassed the adoption fee. I’m so disappointed that they would keep cats under these conditions and give them to new owners in that state. I love my new kitty and I’m happy she is now in a loving home where she is cared for but I will never consider them again and would never recommend them to any friends looking to adopt.
