Description The Texas Coalition for Animal Protection (TCAP) saves animal lives! TCAP has been a leader in animal welfare since its formation in 2002. TCAP provides compassionate solutions to pet overpopulation and euthanasia. As a non-profit, TCAP provides the lowest prices for preventative animal care throughout North Texas. In 2007, the Humane Society of the United States named TCAP as the "most innovative approach to animal welfare in the nation." TCAP's skilled and caring veterinary team has spayed/neutered more than 540,000 animals and has vaccinated more than 1 million animals against the deadly rabies virus.

Such a great experience. Took my pup to get a dental cleaning. The staff was kind and caring to my anxious pup. Everything done to my pup was explained to me and my pup's teeth looked incredible! Please consider making a donation! It is what keeps this place affordable for many families allowing them to be able to keep and care for their pet. I see a lot of the negative reviews and people need to understand it's a low cost clinic with a high number of pet patients and limited staff, stress levels can be high. There are not a lot of places that offer affordable pet care and they make every effort to provide the best care possible, to both the pet and the owner.

Always an excellent experience, of course you have to line up as you will wait a little while. But all in all the staff are excellent, your pet will get the same vaccinations and care for their annual visit as they would at the vet. The prices are great it's first come first serve and they have a good system to get you in and out. No complaints! I recommend to all my friends who complain about their vet bills.

The staff were professional & courteous. They took the time to explain everything. 14 days after being spayed the cone of shame was off & she was back to being the energy filled fur missile I know & love... Oh let's not forget, it's the most affordable place for spaying/neutering in the DFW area. Quotes from other vet clinics ranged from $600-$1,200. TCAP out the door $90. Would've been cheaper -$10 but I didn't know she was in the late stage of her heat cycle (no discharge but things still going on inside) who knew 🤷♂️

I've been coming here for roughly a year. The staff is great and is always affectionate to my dogs. Vaccines are affordable and they offer heartworm testing.

DO NOT GO HERE!! The technician responsible for administering my cat's vaccine failed to do so properly and safely. Proper protocol, as taught in Veterinary Technician school, involves pinching the skin and injecting into the subcutaneous layer. However, this individual simply jammed the injection into my cat's leg without due care. Despite my offer to assist in holding my cat to facilitate the procedure, the technician still jammed the injection into his leg, which poses a risk of inadvertent muscle injection and potential paralysis. PLEASE TCAP, hire technicians proficient in the correct administration of veterinary injections.

Got there since 5:30am and lady was super rude to a few of us seems like she was more interested in a “meeting “ they had going on then to give me 5 seconds of her time to answer a question I had I feel like she could of been more nicer about her responses to us and more clear … we been trying to bring our cat here but there’s never any appointments which we understand, they have a free first 12 cats program which was why we where there super early, keep in mind we have no problem making an appointment and paying ! But appointments were two months out ! This is not a way to treat a customer ! She wasn’t just rude to me and my mom she was rude to others! Y’all need to do better than this.
