They did not respond to the call of a raccoon and her babies and the babies died. Not sure why they even have on in James city county. Theirs been two stray cats on our street for 2 months now. Not tagged, one black and white one and one grey and white one. Still roaming

Sick of calling to report aggressive dog in the neighbourhood, absolutely nothing being done. Have been told the same dog has been reported by at least 5 neighbours and still no change but a voicemail stating “we can’t do a lot” Absolutely pointless.

I guess reading the other reviews are scary but I want to tell people. my experience was totally different.I called about a dog in our neighborhood that runs at large from time to time and reported the situation.Officer Hall went to the dog owners home and explained the law to him that same day I called.So far this had not happened since her visit. I ask d if she and her Supervisor would come to our HOA meeting and explain to our Board and residents what the James City Pet control could and not do when responding to a call.They both came and spoke to our group.If there is a problem on the weekend there is someone on call will respond to a dog bite or emergency problems.I found them to be extremely professional as well as prompt.I sometimes think people only write reviews when they are critical of a situation On balance positive actions also should be told. Thanks

They never answer the phone. I just saw a loose dog and tried to call because he was running in the road. Did'nt even call me back. I've had to call them multiple times about stray or lose dog and they never answer the phone.

There was a lost dog on a highway that almost got hit and ran off so I couldn't get him tried calling Animal Control five times no one ever picked up. Literally had to call the police to come help
