We adopted our loving pup here and returned to visit. The dedicated staff remembered our pup and came out from the back to say hello. Please adopt or donate: they are a worthy cause. It is abundantly evident that the staff loves the animals and are dedicated to their health and happiness.

Called to donate comforters, got an immediate response. They have a drop off bin. I saw all kinds of people walking all kinds of dogs, which I knew were volunteers and rescues. So grateful!

I want to give a shout out to the Heritage Humane Society for hosting a phenomenal surprise birthday party for my 8 year old. The staff took care of everything from decorations and goodie bags to activities and animal interactions. Everything went flawlessly from the moment we walked in. The children had so much fun making catnip treats for the kitties and holding puppies, lizards, ferrets, etc. They even got to make their own stuffed animals to "adopt" and take home. The staff was amazing, and did a wonderful job with the large group of excited kiddos. Thank you, Kendell and staff, for making it a memorable day.

Everyone at this animal shelter was so kind and helpful! They allowed us to take all the time we needed to choose our perfect kitty, although I choose the first one they showed us 🥰🤗 Magic is a perfect fit for our home. She is happy, healthy, and loved very much. She even gets along with our playful puppy! Thankfully 🙏 Her full name now is Ms.Magic Sprinkles.

What a awesome place!!! I volunteered at this shelter i absolutely loved it the staff are wonderful and the animals need loving go help out this NFP place out ... volunteers are always needed the dogs and cats need you!!!

BEST experience EVER!!! Love, love, love the staff. A special shout-out to Tracy Magro. We met Tracy the first day we visited the shelter to find our kitten. She, like the rest of the staff and volunteers, went above and beyond helping us with our adoption. Everyone at the shelter was knowledgeable about the pets dispositions and how they came to be at the shelter. This was particularly important to us because we were introducing our new kitty into our home with a dog and young child. Tracy even went so far as to text me a picture of a possible kitten for us from her personal cell phone. She cared as much as we did that we found the perfect match for our family. We just adopted our new baby kitten and couldn’t be happier with the support and knowledge we received from the Heritage Humane Society. Our new baby, named Frankie (after Frank Sinatra because of his beautiful blue eyes), is perfect and VERY healthy. He was so well cared for by both the shelter-assigned foster family that watched over him for the first 8 weeks as well as the by the shelter. His space at the shelter was the perfect set up, he came to us liter box trained, very clean, up to date on all of his shots and neutered. I can’t say enough positive things about our experience working with the Heritage Humane Society!! Thanks to all that work there!!
