Description Santa Barbara Humane operates two campuses located in Santa Barbara and Santa Maria providing care for community-owned and homeless animals. Both campuses offer affordable, high-quality veterinary care, compassionate behavior training programs, and a relinquishment program for owners who can no longer care for their pets. Homeless animals receive medical care, shelter, and basic behavior training until their adoption. Staff are available seven days a week. Walk-in adoption hours are from 12-4:30 PM every day of the week except Wednesdays.

I recently took in my dog to get fixed, and I was very impressed with the experience. He’s usually timid at the vet, but he was actually happy and comfortable here, thanks to the kind and caring staff. Jose was professional and prompt in taking care of us, and Natalie went above and beyond to make my dog feel comfortable in her care. The facility was clean and welcoming, creating a safe environment for pets and owners alike. The process was smooth, and the clear post-op instructions made recovery easy. I highly recommend this place for anyone considering getting their pet fixed or needing other services. Excellent care and wonderful staff!

We took our cat to be spade and the staff was friendly and helpful. Very reasonable on cost and we added a microchip too. Definitely the way to go.

kind wonderful staff at clinic, I cannot say enough good things about the people here. this place is fabulous. I got to witness the teamwork. one of the customer's dogs got loose and everybody jumped into action. the staff was amazing and the pup was saved. not once but twice. The people who work here are simply amazing. The cat room is so beautiful and the kittens in there are beyond cute

Excellent Service took my moms Dog for a spay and all went well. The attendants were very professional and educated me about vaccines and microchips. jose and the small young lady were very helpful and friendly Thank you guys.

This place is so awesome. They have a lot of resources for pet owners. The staff has always been courteous, and helpful, and they treat their pets so well from what I have personally seen. I'm really appreciative of this place.

I’ve never got a dog from any type of shelter but today we went in looking for a small dog and the staff here were beyond amazing! They helped us find the perfect dog! I’ve never been more satisfied Athenia now names Nina! Thank you guys so much! Will be back! Also allllll the staff was so friendly and nice even though we got out of there after closing they were super kind the whole time!
