Think your ready to rescue a doberman? Think again. Even if you own your house, are self-employed, and have a wife that works from home all week, and will be around to care for the rescue. Then you're wrong. They declined and discriminated against my wife and I from adopting simply due to age and that our house that sits on a 1/8 acre with a huge open fenced in yard is too small...?? Then you look at their Facebook. They seem to be allowing older people to rescue these dobermans. I guess they have more energy to entertain and take care of their animals than young, responsible people. The people in the office were polite. Grace even mentioned she had her first doberman in her 20s. But when it came to the home visit, we felt as if we were being snuffed by the woman that came, and she gave a bad report. The girl we spoke to in the office said the woman that did the visit was being over the top. But it ultimately ended up with us being discriminated against, unfortunately
They do such a great job with the dogs. We adopted Bandit and he has adapted in the pack very well. If you want a dog please rescue.
I love this rescue! Clean facility, wonderful volunteers. I adopted Hazel & couldn’t be happier. She is a perfect new addition to my family. It was love at first sight!
We rescued Blue 4 years ago. It has been a blessing for him and us. We just love him so much. He's a wonderful companion, watch dog, and family member. Thank you Ginny, and thank you Doberman Rescue League..
The volunteers there are some of the most dedicated people providing assistance to Dobermans. They should all be commended on their efforts to protect such a magnificent breed.
This is where I got my ❤ dog Brisa from! She is pretty close to perfect! Hopefully will adopt a boy from them when the time is right!!!!
