I adopted my dog from EADR four years ago! Everyone who has worked with me there has been lovely and supportive. They promise to support their rescues, no matter what. I had an urgent situation six weeks after my dog's adoption, where he pulled off his leash and attacked a tiny dog. It was terrible at the time, but everyone pulled through, including EADR, who supported me with everything I reasonably requested. Four years later, I still keep in touch with them. The people there remain committed, and I still feel free to reach out. They are good to their dogs. God bless them!

In response to allegations in these reviews I wanted to post the below from our president. We did search for two weeks for the owners of these two dogs. We posted on all the lost sites and social media. The found posts were shared over 100 times. As well, the finder drove all around the neighborhood where they lived. They ran into no one searching for their dogs. No one contacted us for two weeks. Reason given by owner, when asked, was that they didn’t think to check social media. We returned their calls promptly when they did call. The owner told us, during our first conversation with her, that the dogs were given to her after her husband died, and not given to her by the husband that passed years prior. At that point we asked for proof of vetting, as proof of ownership. Two weeks went by and we received the name of her vet from her. Her vet informed us that the larger dog was never vetted and the little one had not been seen or treated since they were given the dogs in 2018. These two dogs were found running the street with no vaccinations, no microchips, no county tags, no collars. The finder called us for help, as all Animal Controls were over capacity and closed. We fully vetted and cared for these dogs at our own expense. Both were not neutered, covered in fleas and skin infections. We then waited the appropriate amount of time, according to Florida Regulations, to put them up for adoption. We are an all volunteer charity, trying to save the lives of hundreds, if not thousands of dogs, dumped in Southern Florida. We cannot hold dogs indefinitely and let others die, should by chance,a past owner come forward one day. We did the best we could keeping the two dogs welfare front & center. We facilitated the return of the dogs to the past owner, in a timely manner, even though we were under no Florida statute to do so. Sadly, the past owner did not have the courtesy to send a note that the dogs are doing good. We could have reassured the very heartbroken and gracious recent adopters, who returned the dogs they also loved.
