It's awesome that Lakewood is partnered with KCPP for complimentary exams for adopted pets to encourage owners to get their new pets a check up! My newly adopted cat received an exam today and had a great experience. The staff is incredibly nice and the clinic is so calming and clean. You can tell they are organized and know what they're doing!

Absolutely the best veterinarians and staff!!! Everyone there is all about taking the best possible care of your pet! We have taken our dogs here for years and have seen all the veterinarians. Each one is knowledgeable and caring. Both our dogs have had simple check up visits, surgery, and everything in between and for every visit, no matter the situation, they take excellent care of us all. Dr. Eyler and the staff took our dachshund off the surgery table and to the shelter room with them when a tornado came close by and sirens were going off. Again, I highly recommend them and appreciate the veterinarians and all of the staff!!

. My dog had a ball lodged in his throat I had her at my vet in 3 min the way they did CPR was horrible barley pushed in her and she died. When I called the next day and asked if they have equipment to resuscitate the heart, they don’t and it’s just puzzling to me that they do surgery on dogs and they don’t have any life-saving equipment just the old fashion way of using their hands, I only went there because it’s so close to my house. I should’ve went to blue pearl. Blue pearl told me that my dog should have had ribs broken when cpr is performed. Dr Gollady was barely pushing. No machines to revive Then I got a bill for 800.00. That said dead on arrival. There expensive and if you drop off Your dog they charge 75.00 and don’t tell you they perform surgery hope your animal doesn’t code during surgery since they have no life saving equipment, but they’re more than willing to charge you $500 just for a visit

WE LOVE LAHC!!! I have taken 3 babies to Lakewood: 1 cat and 2 dogs. I have experience with each of the 4 vets at LAHC and with Liz, one of the groomers. I cannot adequately capture how well LAHC vets and staff have cared for each of my babies. Our male dog, a rescue, best demonstrates what we believe LAHC brings to every patient. Our boy came to LAHC in rough shape: he had damaged teeth, mangy fur, and a tummy that simply refused to let him just LIVE. We later discovered allergies and heartworms. We needed every ounce of love and patience that the vet staff (and Liz!) poured into our boy. 18mos later, he's happy and healthy, and no one would ever know the troubled past he suffered. THANK YOU, LAHC!

Dr. Dyer did a great job on my dogs eye surgery. She was very thorough and answered all my questions during and after surgery. Dr. Golladay initially did the consult on my dog and she was fantastic as well. My pup was comfortable there and I am so grateful to have found your hospital. The entire staff is great. Thanks everyone!

Wouldn't take my fur baby anywhere else. Very thorough, answered all my questions, Dr. Dyer is the best!
