I think some of your volunteers really need to reevaluate the needs of the animals. When shelters are busting at the seems, and funds are low. You want to throw stones at people that truly love animals and want to provide a wonderful home for them. I totally understand screening people, but when you make it more difficult than a brain transplant, and throw stones, people tend to shop rather than adopt. I know personally I will never again reach out to this organization. I found the perfect puppy from a different rescue. The best part is having my puppy, the second best thing is not be attacked by the rescue, and treated like Mike Vick.

I was thinking at 2 large breed dogs on line but after filling out application , they have indicated both need to be INDOOR dogs. I live on a farm, have a large fenced yard, access to a garage with igloos in it. Best of luck to them finding indoor homes for big dogs!

While unable to reach this shelter by phone, I was able to find them at Petsmart on an adoption weekend. They were happy to accept a foam mattress topper donation from me for dog bedding.
