We have called for help 4 times. Always quick to respond and the nicest, most respectful and courteous people one could hope for. 1 snake in basement 1 feral cat in garage (Tasmanian devil cat tore the place up and hid in engine compartment) 1 beloved pet died 1 baby deer died in our yard Oh and 1 bat! In the house 😱 I guess that’s 5 five star encounters with Lee’s Summit Animal Control. So thankful for their help.

We first tried to adopt through Blue Springs shelter. We were approved but we were never called to meet the German Shepard that we selected. Called their office several times and they never answered when we called. We waited 5 days and the foster that had this German Shepard never called us.. So we decided to check out Lee's Sumitt animal control. What a great experience. The lady there Skylar was outstanding. Helped us in the selection process. And actually suggested us to look at the one we brought home. A beautiful TreeWalker hound. Female, 20 months old named Azula She had been in the shelter since Febuary. And seems to really like her new forever home. Great job Skylar.

Molly on her way to her forever home 🏡 💕!!!!! This shelter is the best and the people who work there are amazing people ❤️!! When we adopted Molly we were told she had issues with cats 🐈 but I had no worries about that. I know it takes time and training for a doggie to know the rules of the home. We have 2 small dogs and 3 cats. 1st couple of days was rough (which we knew would be) with her wanting to chase and bark at them BUT just after quickly telling her NO and kennel timeout.... she has done great and cats our feeling secure again. Thank you all so much!!! My daughter has her a sweet loving companion 💕

We had a stray cat give birth to four kittens in our basement window well. We didn't notice for several weeks. Once we figured it out we bought food for the mother so she could nurse the kittens. I sat the food in lower area of the window sill. I didn't know there was a drain under the leaves that collected under the plastic rain cover. All four kittens had fallen down the five inch drain about five foot down. I tried everything I could to reach down. Hearing the cries of the kittens tore me up. I called the animal control. Mathew came and was able to get all four out and the kittens were just fine. I can't thank Mathew enough for what he did. He had never done anything like that. A true hero if you ask me. Thank you thank you thank you Mathew

8 years ago I adopted the best dog in the entire world from them! ❤️. He was 30lbs and they said he won't grow much more, he's 141 lbs now😁. Adopted pets are truly a blessing! This is My Jake!
