My dog ate some rat poison and I'm so grateful for Thrive and the 24 hour emergency care! They treated me fur baby and he is doing great! The staff and vets were very friendly and supportive. I highly recommend them.

I would like to share the great experience I had with one of their wonderful nurses Betsy, she was so kind and helpful. She was very compassionate and patient with my dog, he’s not the nicest to new people and was super happy to be around her. Her aura and persona brought out the puppy in my old friend. Hopefully I never have to come back again, but if I ever do, I hope to find Betsy as my nurse again. Amazing work.

If your dog is in dire need of care, do NOT send them here. I experienced the heartbreaking loss of my beautiful 10 month old Bully because of their neglect and carelessness. My dog had a respiratory virus where she was super sick, had troubles breathing, and hadn’t drank water or eaten. As soon as I brought her in, the veterinarian looked at me in disgust and said “first of all, why is your dog so overweight?” Which was not true as she was a very strong and healthy bully- all muscle, no fat. My dog and I were waiting in the room for their care for over an hour until I opened up a credit card because they forced me to pay $3200 before care even took place. Even though it was an EMERGENCY. I was waiting and waiting, wondering why my dog was not being seen, only until my credit card was approved did they come see her. After leaving my dog in their care, they called me and hour and a half (around 7:30pm) after taking her in saying they finally gave her fluids. I called again around 10:30pm to hear updates, to learn her breathing had gotten worse. Then at 2:30am they called, bluntly asking, “So I’m just calling to ask, if you had to make a decision on Lila… what would that be.” I was completely confused and asked what they meant by “a decision”, and what decision I had to make for my dog, given they had no explanation for what they called for. After asking multiple times what that meant, they said “well, Lila went into cardiac arrest and passed away.” So there was no decision to make. I was left with a bill of $2800 for them to neglect my dog, and only give her an IV for treatment, which was given 3 hours after we entered the hospital. I’ve had to deal with the heartbreak of losing my daughter due to neglect and carelessness, and left with a new credit card of $2800 that I’ve had to struggle to pay for. I hope this never happens to anyone and their loved ones, and seeing their other reviews, they should be shut down. ALSO when I came to pick up her ashes, the people at the front desk (as I was crying) were cracking jokes behind the desk and couldn’t even act professional or sympathetic for 2 minutes while i painstakingly picked up my daughters remains. From the bottom of my heart, I hope these people find a different career where they never have to care for any other living beings. They are absolutely cruel. (First photo is a week prior vs when she went in for care)

My dog was severely attacked by a pitt bull and my regular vet recommended this pet hospital for emergency care. They do their best to move quick and assess all pets promptly. My dog was taken in right away given the severity of his wounds. We are not in the clear yet as he is still recovering, but so far Dr. Silva and the team have been great! Available 24/7 to answer questions and concerns and provide updates while the dog is in their care. All the nurses have been very caring and compassionate. I hope no one has to experience this type of situation, but if so, this place is top notch!

Forever grateful for all the staff at SVRC. They saved my Yorkie after it got attacked at the dog park. The whole team was communicative, supportive and understanding. Highly recommend! They are emergency and speciality medicine. They assessed and ran tests to ensure my dog got the correct treatment with the best outcome. My dog had emergency surgery and stayed in recovery for days after. The staff took care of him with attention and love. Before and after emergency surgery below. Thank you to the whole staff at Southeast Veterinary!

From the time I made the frantic call that my sweet precious boy (cat) had taken his last 2 breaths to the time I picked up his ashes, the customer service that I received was nothing short of impeccable! Thank you all for putting him away nicely and the beautiful memorial items.
