BEST SERVICE EVER! No other rehabilitation center can compare!!! Silvia was a life saver. This is the only place you can call 24/7 and Silvia will come and help you!! She is the most devoted and kind-natured person. Called at nearly 9pm and she zoomed to us. She saved three babies and tirelessly searched for the injured mama opossum in my back yard. Best service, best care, best rehabilitation center!!! Call her!!

My friend found an infant raccoon in a tree in his backyard. The mother never appeared. Thank goodness we were given Sylvia’s number and she was able to come and rescue her. What an amazing experience to witness the rescue and to know that the raccoon will be taken care of and then released. Sylvia is such a wonderful human and I am so happy to have met her. We need more Sylvias in this world!

I found a baby squirrel that was barely moving and looked in need of help. I found Melina’s Wildlife Rehabilitation Center and called. Silvia responded right away and came over to pick up the baby squirrel in less than 30 mins of my call. She genuinely has a passion for what she does and lives to help animals. She’s professional, and an amazing soul for doing the work she does.

Sylvia is a true angel! She took a baby squirrel that fell out of a very tall tree and spent days nursing her. All other rehabilitators closed at 5pm so she stays open for this reason. She will do anything for these animals, and she is operating out of her own funds so please consider making a donation if you use her services. She never even mentioned a donation, or tried to push us on it, but we saw it on the intake form and made one. She then told us about 90% of ppl don’t give anything… but that doesn’t stop her from continuing to help people and animals with a big smile on her face.

I had a pregnant Opossum that was attacked by a dog in my backyard. I spent the whole morning calling around to see if anyone would be able to come to help rescue the injured animal. Silvia was an angel as drove a long way to try to save the live of the Opossum family. Sadly the mother did not make it but we were able to save her 7 babies.
