I took my new puppy to FHA for a health check the day after I got him. A truly wonderful experience. Dr Travis checked my boy out and spent some xtra time with us reminiscing about my Jack who I lost last June. I've been going there for years and continued on after my Drs retired until my Jack was gone. I didn't hesitate a second in bring my new little one to them as they truly feel like family after all these years. Thanks everyone...you're the best!!

Doctors and team here are always prompt, thorough, and caring with myself and my animals. I truly value their knowledge and passion towards helping animals and am thankful they’re always able to work us in when there’s an emergency. They also currently have an automated system during non-working hours that can transfer you to a pet hospital that does take emergency calls during off hours - this recently helped me during an emergency with my dog, and I am thankful for this, too.

EDIT ON MAY 29, 2024 Absolutely love!!! For 8 years Northgate treated my baby as if he was a monster and it was always a terrible and dreadful experience. At this place we were welcomed with open arms the moment we walked in! The loved all over my big guy and qas able to examine and treat him with no sedation meds or injections and no muzzle! I wish i would have made the switch much sooner but we are no furever clients of fairview animal hospital!!! Thank you all so very much!!! I am absolutely heartbroken and digusted with the experience I had by phone today. I chose this place to be my new forever vet clinic recently and I had a problem with my other pet (who is a cat) I called and asked if 14 yrs old was too old for a spay since I have been having a fairly new issue with my cat spraying when she is in full blown heat which has never happened until I adopted a puppy 6 months ago. Anyways I kind of figured the chances were low... they confirmed they didn't feel comfortable spaying at that age. I gave the receptionist a little back history on her health and explained the circumstances and that I could not have her spraying all over my walls, fridge, cabinets, the whole house!! I asked for suggestions on what I could do to prevent spraying and she basically told me nothing and I had to deal with it. Upset at that point because I knew I couldn't have her spraying my entire house I asked if I couldn't spay her there had to be something! I relied on their expertise. She told me in a very nasty toned "I don't know what u want they don't feel comfortable and just call other places and maybe they'll do something for u but we just aren't " it's not the words that got under my skin but the tone and hate in her voice!! Totally unacceptable, ur job is there to help animals and their owners!!!! And by the way, I call Northgate pet clinic and APL in Springfield and both said it would be fine as long as pre surgical blood work was fine. I also called cats only and they too said it was fine with blood work in advance... and they also recommended a urine sample to rule out UTI. Maybe ur receptionist should have offered us an appointment given I was highly considered about the spraying. I don't know. Just disappointed. Looks like my search for a new vet continues.

We had our first appointment with Dr.Mansur today for our sick dog. We were not aware of the severity of her illness and the doctor took his time and was very thorough with our girl. Our dog was deemed a mean dog at our last vet clinic and always wanted her to be sedated before exams. I was up front with Fairviews staff that I was not going to sedate her for her first visit. Our dog was scared but went up to the doctor and tech and was fine. Our first time experience was very inviting and we appreciate all your help to hopefully heal our girl. Thank you all

The veterinarians and staff at Fairview Hospital for Animals are the best! Their entire team looks after my dogs as if they were their own, and I am always comfortable knowing that my dogs are in the best hands when we visit. The staff knows my dogs' personalities and how to handle their needs, which is just one example of why Fairview Hospital for Animals is the best around!
