Our group had a great time learning about birds of prey.

They are one of the very few organizations that rescue baby birds. They got back to me immediately via text and I was able to take the fledgling Robin in the same morning that I rescued it.

This is not a drop in a visit facility but if you call and set something up they have a wonderful sense of sharing these wonderful creatures. I have seen them up close and in large settings and find that the kids love the birds and the information they get from listening and seeing them in flight and interacting with the staff. This is a very caring group and I recommend you get to know them if you see or know of an injured animal. They do not have the funds to transport the animals to them but they do their best to connect you with the proper people who can care for the animal. :)

No public hours on a daily basis, but look for Raptor Camps, Personal Raptor Experiences, Owl Prowl, Open House, Educational Programs on and off site for a chance to visit and see the resident ambassador birds. Also does wildlife rehabilitation, with a focus on raptors, nest rescues (returning babies to the nest), on site habitat restoration, research projects to better understand and help wild raptors. Building Superflight (projected opening in 2017), a flight facility over 400 feet long designed to help birds, including eagles, rebuild strength and be evaluated before release back to the wild. Donations and program fees are what help get projects like Superflight done and cover costs of rehabilitation and care for the non-releasable ambassador birds.
