Description AWS Animal Hospital (Animal Welfare Society) is Miami's only full service, private, nonprofit veterinary hospital. We are not a government/state agency and do not receive any federal funding or taxpayer monies. Since 1972, we've been dedicated to providing quality and caring medical services to South Florida pets. Please know we work on a walk-in basis for routine services, emergencies are given a priority and take appointments only for surgeries. Since we have a case maximum per day, we recommend calling us at 305-858-3501 to see if we are still accepting clients.

First time here and will definitely come back with my little one! They were amazing and so kind. Brought Dali in for an emergency visit and felt they truly cared and did not overcharge me. Dali is better and I am happy. Totally recommend!!!!

I can’t say enough about Animal welfare services, they are often overlooked for Vet care, extremely overlooked for donations. They are extremely thorough, I’ve been to a lot of different places. I have never received the quality service that I have there. They are about the animals! thanks to Petsmart charities for the donation that you have made to them to allow animals to get the care that they need. This place definitely deserves many many many more donations. And a very special thanks to Barbi and all the staff! They have gone above and beyond on a very complicated mass in my baby stomach. There are just no words for what the Vet and staff have done for me and my baby and I’m forever grateful.

NEVER COME TO THIS PLACE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PETS!! My parents went in to get their kitten of 1 year neutered, a simple surgery that doesn’t take long, to then find out that their kitten ends up dying. My parents are devastated and are in tears for such a thing to even happen. Being told that it was “probably something that had been wrong with his kidneys” is insane and just makes no sense given the fact that the kitten was healthy as can be. Most definitely had to have been the amount of anesthesia that was given to him cuz there’s just no way something like that happens. What a sad turn of events for something that definitely could’ve been avoided. Just don’t come here. R.i.p. Looney💔

Great experience!!!! I took my dog for a possible cherry eye situation and I couldn’t be happier with the service we received. Turns out it wasn’t cherry eye but a wart and no surgery needed. The vet and nurse were very nice and caring! Explained everything clearly. Definitely recommend 100%.

This place is absolutely horrible from the receptionist to the staff. I brought my cat in for a concern but explained to them i was low on funds and just wanted a prescription until i can get her fully checked. I was looked down on the entire time for not having 600 dollars to pay for all the tests they wanted me to get done. I only brought her in here because of the first 2 reviews stating how “understanding” and “economic” they are. Im putting 5 stars just so my comment will be at the top but definitely a -5 if you ask me. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!! Oh and the best part they wanted me to apply for a credit card just to be able to pay for the procedures they were “suggesting”.

Saved my little girl’s life. My rat terrier had tumors with other medical problems, and Dr Soca was very knowledgeable, professional and detailed oriented. Honest prognosis. They are more than reasonable for an emergency. The office staff are very caring. Thank you for giving us a chance to have our fur baby with us for a little while longer. I live by County Line (next to Broward) and drive to AWS, they are worth the drive.
