I usually don't write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience. I entrusted the Ark with my beloved cat's life, and they severely let us down. My cat didn't survive the anesthesia, and their only explanation was that "sometimes this just happens." At his pre-op appointment, we waited 45 minutes only for the nurse to be completely uninformed about my cat, even mistaking his gender. I understand they see many pets, but accurate records should prevent such oversights. When my fiancé went to pick up his ashes, the front desk staff criticized our choice of a new vet (Hitchcock, who has been wonderful, by the way) and tried to dissuade us. My fiancé firmly ended the conversation. We still had to pay for his cremation after spending copious amounts of money trying to determine if anything was wrong and all tests came back clear. He had FIV, but his bloodwork showed that he was healthy enough to undergo surgery. I as well as my other vet genuinely believe that this was an anesthesiologist error. From my first visit to the Ark, I had a bad feeling. I regret not trusting my instincts and going elsewhere. Hindsight is 20/20. I’m so glad for those whose pets have had positive experiences, but I wanted to share mine so others are informed.

The staff is very friendly and clearly love animals! I felt very welcome and was happy with their care for our new kitten. The oder was a bit overwhelming through the clinic but other than that we were satisfied with our first visit. There's a waiting list for neuter so if you need that done keep that in mind.

They have been taking care of my dogs since 88 and they are wonderful. I also board my dogs there and they take very good care of them.

They are all about taking care of animals and finding them good homes. They are very careful who adopts from them which is great and are true pet lovers.

Sadly my cat of 18 years passed away. I brought her in. Had her cremated. The process was quick and the staff was nice.
