On the evening of December 6, Rescue Mission staff decided to send my friend along with her infant, to ER, based on the mother's symptoms, at first assuring her that they would pick her up from the hospital to bring her back to the facility. But when she called them from the hospital for a ride back, she was told no transportation was available til morning! So I picked her and her baby up from the hospital to drive them back to the Rescue Mission. Given the ongoing incompetency amongst Mission staff, I made sure they buzzed my friend and her baby into the building before driving off!

The only impression the city rescue mission of Saginaw has given an observant, college educated "guest" such as myself is that the City rescue mission of Saginaw is officially a completely dysfunctional, chaotic nightmarish hybrid of an unregulated third world concentration camp, labor camp, and psychiatric hospital that has been, is and continues to remain notoriously rife with problems of federal government funding fraud, misuse misappropriation along with corruption and a laundry list of human rights violations that has been and continues to be overrun with violent and dangerous felons, unrepentant remorseless habitual kleptomaniacs because the city rescue mission of Saginaw has been and continues to remain owned, operated, and maintained purely as the personal for profit corporate shell of rescue ministries of mid Michigan by its owners and select employees that have absolutely no compassion, intentions, interest, or desire of actually meeting the needs of or assisting the homeless of Saginaw with rehousing unless rescue ministries of mid Michigan and City rescue mission of Saginaw property owners and select employees profit financially

I called this location now a couple of times to speak with the business development director and was treated as if I was calling the White House! Twice! So, I went to your website and saw Kim ancel and her email address so I reached out to her and received a response back from her to remove her from my email list! Really? Your a rescue mission! Is this how you treat other referrals? I’m stunned to know how you treat others who need help!! Smh! I’ll make sure to let everyone know not to call your locations so you won’t be bothered again!

The Saginaw Michigan city Rescue Mission is a great place to live if you ever become homeless. The staff is very attentive to the needs of the people that live there. They will help you get employed on a job and give you decent clothing too wear on that job, with free transportation to that job. They will make sure that your children have safe transportation to school and safe transportation from school. They will make sure everyone has hygiene and cosmetic products for personal care. They will make sure that you have three decent meals daily and the food is good. They will make sure that you and your children get medical insurance. If you get sick they will make sure that you get to the hospital. They will make sure that you hear the gospel and get spiritual guidance anytime you need it. They will make sure that you have access to clean linen when you need it. They will make sure that you have free access to washers and dryers, free soap and irons included. They will make sure that you get housing vouchers, help you find housing and they will furnish the house/apartment freely and they will deliver the furniture to you as well. The list of the things that they make available to you can be summed up with this statement, " there is no door, that if they knocked on that would not open for you". A great asset to the city of Saginaw Michigan and is of great service to anyone that needs it. With that said, the staff is very respectful to all. I have to tip my,🎩 to the staff with a standing ovation! May God continue to bless you all. The city of Saginaw Michigan Rescue Mission is one of the best places to give donations to, financially it is one of the best institutions to donate money to because it's the only place that is seriously doing something positive to fight homelessness in the city of Saginaw Michigan on a 24/7 everyday basis. They help people fight drug addictions and any negative things that come their way. It's a great place to donate furniture, clothing, household supplies, appliances like stoves, TV sets, cooking supplies and food supplies etc, whatever you can give including houses, buildings, cars, buses etc.,. I was homeless for about five years, I applied for housing assistance and was always denied and everytime I applied for an apartment I was denied. The reason I was denied because of a lie that I owed money to a landlord but court documents proved I owed no money to anyone, the staff helped me with that. When they knocked on those doors they opened up. The staff's determination at the city Rescue Mission to get me housing paid off. I can't thank them enough. 2-25-23, I was severely hearing impaired and thanks to two very special staff members at the rescue mission I now have two brand new hearing aids and I can hear better than others that are not hearing impaired. The two very special staff members know who they are, they are truly God sent. Can you hear me now. 🤪

Grateful to have a shelter for my family. But everyone shouldn't serve those who are in need. It's too many jobs that just need employees. Saginaw needs a new shelter that's not religious. You shouldn't force your religion on people, or abuse your power because you have it. The 1 star is for the kitchen staff and a and having somewhere to sleep at night.
