I was super impressed with the facility when I went in to check out some pups. It's clean, spacious, and the staff are very nice and know their pups well. I met with Bourbon, now known as Tux, and had to bring the kids back to meet him. They adored him as much as I did! He loves his new family and we love him. Thank you so much SCAC for taking good care of our boy before we got him.

I was originally irritated by the visit from animal control. Then realized they are just trying to help. Animal control was very nice even when I was irritated. Thank you for you professionalism.

Called for them to pick up a cat that fell into my basement/crawl space. (Which she confirmed they do) And then stated I would like to proceed to officially adopt the cat after it’s treated or atleast confirmed not to have rabies as I have a licensed childcare facility. This is the only option safely available to protect me and my children from a potential rabid animal — the lady stated I would have to figure that out on my own if I want to keep the cat … she can’t guarantee I can adopt the cat (as they do anyway) politics? Or is this somewhere in writing ? Or by personal choice? Seems unconventional if safety is your priority and care is your concern.
