The staff are always professional and so caring towards our furry baby K-9, Ranger. They are great at communicating when check-ups are do, when prescriptions are ready, and even sent me an email to complete a pre-appointment questionnaire, to save us time on the day of appointment!

We absolutely LOVE the Animal Hospital of Waynesville. We are new to Waynesville and were very anxious about finding a new vet for our sweet Chiweenie. Every part of the process from the initial phone call through the first visit has been a wonderful experience! Dr Mallory Smith was kind, compassionate and thorough. Her assistants were also knowledgeable and friendly! We highly recommend Animal Hospital of Waynesville!

Highly recommend this Vet to everyone!!! They have been exceptional. The staff is always very friendly and patient with both of my dogs. I know that the staff here really cares every time I call or go for an appointment. I have recommended many friends to go to Waynesville Animal Hospital and they are also very grateful for the care they have received. Both of my dogs have been neutered here and the office staff has checked in with me about both of them after their surgeries. BEST VET IN HAYWOOD!!

We had a great experience! I appreciated the time the staff spent with our girl trying to help her feel comfortable and safe before the exam. She loved the treats and sweet words. I was also so happy that our doctor took the time to read the pre- appointment paperwork, commenting on her treats, lifestyle, and even discussed our Embark report we brought. You can tell the staff here really cares.

My senior boy was extremely lethargic and not eating. My husband called them first thing in the morning and regardless of how busy they were they took him in. They did a complete examination on him and got him some meds. I could not have asked for better staff. They kept us up to date on everything they were doing. They are remarkable people who generally care for your fur babies. They have gained two patients from my household. Thank you again and you have relieved a huge boulder off this fur-mom's shoulders.

Yesterday morning my dogs face started swelling up. I called another Vet Clinic and had an appointment for 5pm. Through the day his swelling got worse and he started having hard time breathing. I rushed to the Vet Clinic where I had the appointment at, they were in a staff meeting and the receptionist walked past the locked door while I knocked on it while holding my dog who was obviously in distress. I made a judgement call and rushed to Waynesville Animal Hospital. Wouldn’t you know it they were also in a staff meeting. The difference is when the receptionist seen me she rushed to the door, unlocked it and was immediately on her ear piece calling for a Doctor. Before I could even get completely in the door a Doctor and several other employees were rushing from the back. Within less than a minute they had my dog in the back working on him. They saved his life yesterday and they will now be the only Vet I take my pets to. Thank you to all the people there who saved “Helper” yesterday!!
