First time here and I can say we had a great experience despite the circumstances. We came in with our injured dog and they were very welcoming when we first arrived. They checked us in and I feel like we waited an appropriate amount of time for what we came in for. Obviously I feel like if it was way more serious we wouldn’t have waited so long. The vet and the vet tech were very professional and explained everything that would be happening. I was very pleased that they gave us a quote first and explained what the procedure was going to be. I definitely felt like they handled our injured dog with care and compassion. Overall great experience but I hope we don’t have to come back here anytime soon.

We have used SAGE Concord for emergency and speciality care for our dogs for more than 15 years. Their service, care, communication, instructions, and any necessary follow up always exceeds our expectations. Dr. Richardson yesterday did emergency surgery on our Husky-Malamute mix dog Sid to remove a foxtail from his right side, that had burrowed in and was causing a tumor like infection pocket that we had only noticed the day before. We went to the Emergency Dept. after noticing (called first so they were ready for us), and at that visit the Emergency staff was able to get us a Surgery consult with Dr. Richardson the very next day. She was so thoughtful and kind, spent much time explaining what the tumor like growth might be, and thoroughly presented different medical steps to address the issue. She also took time to discuss different senior dog issues, given that Sid is almost 13 years old. Her communication when the foxtail was found via ultrasound, and the surgery she would immediately do to remove it, was outstanding. Sid received outstanding care during his overnight stay, and nurse Tessa was fabulous this morning explaining all of Sid's necessary at home follow up care; his medications; care of his wound drain; how to put a very large T-shirt on him to cover his incision, wound train tubing, and drainage pouch; and necessary follow up appointments. Dr. Richardson provided multiple pages of extensively detailed information and instructions, as well as detailed information about his medications. I highly recommend SAGE Concord. We are so thankful to have their world class emergency and speciality vet services nearby.

They have taken care of our cat, Bella, twice now; each time, they have provided caring, kind, and knowledgeable support. Bella's cancer is back, and they were very understanding with us, providing comfort care to give us maybe a week or so more with her. Oh my gosh …I could not be any more appreciative of the amazing caring and loving staff at Sage! I took my grand dog to them and we figured he was goner as his bladder had ruptured! The entire team did everything they could to save our Tony’s life! They are talented professional and friendly; the perfect combination to save our loved one! I would without hesitation recommend the Sage Team with any of our loved animal family members!

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at an animal hospital. If I could give no stars I would. Cynthia the vet assistant was BEYOND RUDE. I brought my cat in for lethargy and not eating or drinking. It took them almost 30 min just to bring him in the room. I asked to have Vitals taken and Cynthia informed me they have to ask all the questions first. Finally after literally turning his carrier completely upside down to get him to FALL out of it, she took his vitals. Had a fever of 103.4 at that time and then basically blew me off after that. She has to be one serious ANGRY person to work at this Emergency Hospital! DONT GO!! And stay away from Cynthia! Here is Huckleberry hiding in the corner scared to death of the vet assistant.

My experience at sage was very good when it came to their care and hospitality. Unfortunately there was nothing that could be done for my dog. But it comfort me to see they really cared and felt my pain. When I went here the second time it was to put my doggy to rest after 16 years and many illnesses. Their support meant alot and they were very helpful. A week later I even received a sympathy letter from the doctor that helped me through the process which was very comforting to know they understood me and felt my pain even though they made me cry with their kind words. Thank you so very much to all who helped me out at sage.
