We rescued Stark (8 month Jack Russell & Bassett Hound mix) in Aug 2019 and had a wonderful rescue experience. I submitted my application online and received a call from Darlene in a few minutes. She asked questions and wanted to make sure she had a good understanding of our wants and home environment so she could find the right dog for us. We arranged a date and time to meet and ended up taking Stark home. She was very supportive throughout the process and helped arrange for shots and neutering. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND working with Darlene and her team if you are interested in rescuing a new dog or cat. I was disappointed to see the other 1 star review just because they were not open. On their site, it says to call to arrange a time so that volunteers can meet at the building. This organization is run by volunteers that really care about animals.

This is an AMAZING place to adopt a dog. The president Darlene is very helpful and understanding through the process and takes great care of they're animals.

This place is not open at all and if you call they won't answer maybe because is only if people volunteer 🤔
