Description Sammamish Animal Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides forever homes for abused, neglected, unwanted, and/or homeless barnyard animals. We do not breed, sell, nor buy our animals. The quality of life and safety of our animals are our top priorities. We are open to the public free of charge so that everyone has the opportunity to meet our wonderful residents. As we do not receive government funding or large corporate donations, we rely on the generosity of our amazing donors. If you would like to donate, please visit our website. Thank you!
The animals here are truly blessed because they not only have the best team taking care of them, you can tell they’re truly loved. The volunteers here are spectacular at making sure the animals are taken care of, cleaned, and fed. This place is truly a sanctuary for the animals to be and a fun, interactive experience for both adults and children of all ages!
This place is such a cool place to bring kids. To enter its free. If you would like a bucket of food to feed the animals it's $5. Definitely need to make a reservation online, this helps with not having it super crowded at one time, which i really appreciate it.
This animal sanctuary is so cute! You must make a reservation online beforehand to attend. There is chickens, horses, bunnies, goats, alpacas, donkeys, cows and more! Some areas you are able to enter and pet the animals other areas you are only allowed to view or feed animals from the fence. All the staff members were so kind and welcoming. You can tell they enjoy their jobs. Food to feed animals is available for purchase for 5$. Would definitely come again!
Such a fun place to take the kids! My kids love animals and they are thrilled to walk in the pasture with the goats, sheep, and donkeys!! The animals are well cared for and the grounds are clean.
We had a wonderful time visiting! The volunteers were so nice and welcoming. My 1.5 year old had a blast interacting with the animals. While it is free, you do need a reservation. When you arrive they have food buckets for a $5 donation that I highly recommend! They take both card and cash. We will absolutely be back to visit!
This is an awesome place. You really get a very close experience with the animals and they are very used to kids and overall visitors. The people running it are the most patient, nicest and helpful. It’s really an act of love and compassion.
