I was a little nervous to take my pup to yet again another vet. However after Dr. Ordas being recommended by a family member and then reading the reviews on here helped my make my decision to take him to Dr. Ordas. Here's our story :) I had rescued one of my pups in January of 2023. He had this persistent cough. During certain months the cough would become deeper; and the rest of the time it would be lighter. The woman who fostered him informed , he has had this cough for over a year before I rescued him. In total he had this cough that no one could fix for over 3 years in total. I myself have been to numerous vets, specialists, and had ER visits. Dr. Ordas reviewed my pups medical records the day before my visit. He emailed me back discussing what my pup might have had (a collapsing trachea) but wanted to discuss in person during the visit. I was nervous to bring my pup to yet another vet after all of my experiences of him not being helped. After Dr. Ordas met, looked at and diagnosed my pup he recommended three different medications. Dr. Ordas took the time to explain in detail everything that was wrong with my pup (even showing me in the x-rays both the old and new ones what was wrong with my pup), and answered any questions I had. Dr. Ordas provided his recommendations for my pup, and I did not feel pressured in anyway to complete the recommendations he suggested. In the end I ended up going along with Dr. Ordas recommendations. Two days after my visit Dr. Ordas called me to check on my pup. Since being on the medications Dr. Ordas recommended my pup no longer has the deep persistent cough consistently (maybe once in a while, which is normal for a collapsing trachea). After my pup being uncomfortable for 3 years Dr. Ordas was able to help him and me. After taking him to all of these drs. Dr. Ordas was able to help him in one visit. I will be forever grateful for him. Since I first contacted this office everyone was extremely polite, kind, caring, and knowledgeable. I will recommend this veterinarian office to anyone I come across. Due to the exceptional care of my one rescue pup. Moving forward I will also be taking my other pup to this office.

This is my favorite clinic so far. The customer service is outstanding. Dr. Ordas is incredibly good and attentive, knowledgeable and kind to us. I trust this clinic and absolutely recommend it to anyone who is looking for the best care in Astoria.

I went for an emergency visit on Monday morning for my cat. It took no longer than 10 minutes to see Dr. Glasser. He did an amazing job explaining everything thoroughly & always made sure you approved of the price before moving forward. Prices were affordable & very reasonable. The receptionist was amazing. Everyone makes you feel so welcome & they keep you updated with every single detail. Thank you Dr. Glasser & the team!! You guys are the best. Don’t hesitate coming here!

Dr. Glasser and his team have taken consistently great care of my pup. It makes me feel so much better knowing that she’s under their care and in their very capable hands. I’m always impressed with how thorough and thoughtful everyone is, and how patiently and quickly they answer my myriad questions whenever we have cause to make a visit. My pup is my world and my best friend and I wouldn't entrust her care to anyone unless I had the highest level of confidence in their abilities and compassionate approach.

I’m not normally a person who leaves reviews, but after having my dog now for one year and taking her to this veterinary practice throughout this time, I can confidently give them five stars. My dog is a rescue poodle mix, and we are first-time dog parents. Both Dr. Glasser and Dr. Ordas are always patient, informative, and kind at appointments. I like that they tell the price of recommended care before doing anything to make sure I am okay with the cost. The receptionists are always nice and helpful over phone, email, and in-person. I’ve appreciated being able to email them photos and concerns about my dog and get fast responses. You get email and text reminders from them about upcoming vaccines, heartguard, and other regular stuff your pet needs which always helps me stay organized. I also love that they have an online store. My partner chose this practice after reading people’s recommendations on the Astoria Reddit thread. We love Steinway Court Vets and can concur with the other many positive reviews.
