I've supported MRM quite a while, they do a service that I'm sure those rating a 1have never had to stay at, or would. I'm sure if those that have to stay there would rate a lot higher. Just saying... MRM is a blessing to those who need them. Keep up the wonderful work MRM!!

Are y'all the ones that treat the needy like dirt? The ones that stole property from a guy, claiming he stole it, and then turned around and sold HIS belongings? Is that you, manager Dan? Or is it condescending Dan? Ridiculous place and people!

Yes they have beds and yes they feed you and grateful for the therapist they hired to ahve there to help , but the BIGGEST thing to someone who lost their home and family nd friends is RESPECT. the lac of dignity nd respect you get from these employees terrible, I was hones around may in 2001 and I have never experience it beforenot did I ge there from drugs either, but from the first day, I realized that they all treat everyone as if they deserve what they got and as if they are all drugs addicts and thieves and somehow we need to earn respect. whether I did drugs or not is irrelevant to how you treat me. Respect is HUMAN right and so is our dignity the only DAY I enjoyed there was when a visiting church group just came and talked to the residents there. it was the only normal human interaction I got. Only ONE employee I rebel was kind to us, unfortunately I dot remember her name but she was blonde and very kind. everyone else was rude, and looked down you which is surprising seeing how the workers themselves were former drug users. I dot know if it's a personal preference or a training tactic but they are disgusting people here. Don't even cal yourself a christian if you work there treating people like that, embarrassing God like that. I even had friends I made there delaying with their own MENATL health , not even a self diagnosis but something the male therapist given to them told him, luckily he moved out months later but the sheer fact that how hey treated me there was appalling. and then the shelter runner had the NEVRE to take away the oNLY relax days they have there from the weekend to just Sunday?!? the other women told me about the mandatory store work you have to do and how that gets In the way of them finding actual jobs during the week. I agree, I was in the city for a week before moving into the mission. not to mention they are not even consistent letting people know what to be expected here, when I got there ei went let aware of the rules or the mandatory house meetings, or mandatory days working t the store. Luckily for me after 5 days I was working at Wendy's. Yea the pole are better off outside than in a place like that. do better.

I have supported the rescue mission by donating and also by shopping there for items I can use for my crafts. I have gone several times and bought records. The same records are sitting on the shelf every time I go in. They by no means fly off the shelf. The charge for each record is a ridiculous $3 each however I have always purchased the sets and they have sold them to me for $3.00. Today I was told no each record in the set is $3.00 so I didn’t buy them. So instead of making $9.00 for the needs of people they will sit on the shelf. I came home and ordered records off eBay for $1.00 each. Point being the goal is to sell donated items to help those in need, I get that and that is why I donated to you and shopped there as well, but consider the amount of money you maybe losing because you are over priced.
